Job Title: Asst Manager-Business Development – PVC

Department: Sales & Marketing / Business Development

Designation: Asst Manager - Business Development

Location- Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai/Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

Identify new business opportunities in domestic and international markets for PVC compounds.

Research market trends, competitor activities, and potential clients in sectors like wires & cables, automotive, footwear, profiles, pipes, and injection moulding.

Generate leads through networking, industrial directories, trade exhibitions, and digital platforms.

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with OEMs, converters, distributors, and key industry stakeholders.

Understand client requirements and offer suitable PVC compound grades or customized solutions.

Conduct technical discussions with clients in coordination with the R&D/technical team.

Achieve sales targets and contribute to the revenue growth of the company.

Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize orders.

Track sales performance, follow up on payments, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Work closely with production and R&D teams to ensure timely sample development and delivery.

Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and competitor analysis for management review.

Provide inputs to management on market demand, pricing trends, and product improvements.

Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade fairs, and seminars.

Promote the company’s products through presentations, technical discussions, and marketing initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of PVC compounds, polymer industry applications, and market dynamics.

Proven track record in business development or industrial sales.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.

Ability to understand technical specifications and coordinate with R&D/production teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Diploma/Degree in Plastics/Polymer/ Chemical Engineering, or MBA in Marketing (preferred).

Experience: 4–10 years in industrial sales/business development, preferably in PVC compounds or polymer industry.

• Stay current: Explore new tools, libraries, and Android trends; share insights with the team.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of Android app development experience, with at least one app published to the Play Store.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, including coroutines and Flow.
• Deep experience with Jetpack Compose, including animations, state, and theming.
• Familiarity with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and separation of concerns.
• Experience with Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger).
• Strong understanding of unit and UI testing tools (e.g., JUnit, Espresso).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality code.

Bonus Points For

• Experience with Flutter or cross-platform development.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or backend development in Node.js, Django, or similar.
• Experience with monitoring and analytics tools (Firebase Crashlytics, Analytics).

• Assist in waterproofing applications and works with a range of waterproofing chemicals and coating products.

• 5+ years of professional experience developing and launching software products on Cloud.

• Good understanding of data stores like Postgres, Redis, Kafka, and Elasticsearch.

• Experience in designing and developing applications using Node.js, RDBMS (preferably MySQL).
• Minimum 3 years of Node.Js, 3 years of Database experience required.
• Expertise in at least one of AWS, Google Compute platforms to build scalable solutions.
• Deep knowledge and experience in building complex cloud/enterprise-grade software in the area of IT infrastructure, virtualization, network, storage systems monitoring & manage mentor cloud solutions
• Expertise in writing async code (callbacks, promises, async/await, observables) and publish/ subscribe/ event.
• Experience in implementing and consuming SOAP and REST web APIs.
• Producing and maintaining automated testing, build, and deployment processes.
• Improve documentation of processes and systems
• Troubleshoot existing systems and applications
• Experience in data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Experience in RESTful APIs and knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Understanding of data structures and problem-solving approaches, and ability to articulate trade-offs
• Strong fundamentals OOPS concepts, SOLID principles, Data Structures/Algorithms, Exception Handling, Coding Standards, Logging
