QA Engineer ( Manual)

Roles and responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience in developing scripts, designing test scenarios, test execution, monitoring, analyzing results, and reporting performance bottlenecks.
• Experience in setting up/designing load scenarios for various tests like load test, endurance test, stress test, etc.
• Expert level proficiency in Java and Javascript.
• Ability to work independently on project performance testing with minimal supervision.
• Provide technical input into planning efforts
• Create a technical testing strategy and technical scope
• Prepare, execute and monitor all testing activities
• Develop tools for the parsing of logs generated by the AUT
• Maintain test lab including the performance tools and the performance environment
• Analyze root causes of performance issues and provide corrective actions.
• Suggest new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting and tracking activities.
• Provide support in project design, development and deployment activities.
• Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures
• Identify and recommend NFR requirements for performance testing through analysis of product specifications and software requirements.

• Ensure that the testing environment is ready and available
• Good knowledge of 3-tier architecture, Application, and DB layer for a good understanding of test env.
• Able to understand the complex architecture of the product developed in various different technologies like .net, java.

Requirements: 

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in performance test Experience with Jmeter, Load RoadRunner/Performance Center, Blazemeter or any other load testing tools.
• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience in APM tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics.
• A logical engineer mindset with analytical thinking.
• Ability to work well with the development team to propose solutions and take on the performance issues

• Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
• Executing tests on software usability.
• Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
• Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.

What are you going to do?

• Understand business use cases/user stores and develop test cases/scripts
• Perform manual QA testing including functional testing, regression testing, system testing, white box testing, and black box testing
• Participate in the review and analysis of business requirements, functional specifications and design documents

• Solid knowledge of QA testing methodologies, concepts, processes, and documentation
• Ability to automate at UI/API/Database level and apply the same in their testing

You Need To Have

• 3+ years of relevant software testing experience
• Good in Test Plan, Estimation techniques and testing methodologies.
• Good in Requirement understanding and preparing requirement traceability matrix
• API testing with Postman and other similar tools
• Good in Selenium Scripts and framework designing 
• Knowledge of scripting with any programming language is a plus.
• User interfaces testing, mobile applications testing of Android and iOS
• Load testing and performance testing with different tools like JMETER 
• Knowledge of API documentation tools like Swagger etc.
• Should have experience using ReAssured with Debugging skills
• Basic Security testing tools knowledge is an add-on.

Position description: 2+ years of hands on experience in testing.

Primary Responsibilities:

• To work closely with software developers and product planners to understand more about what the product is for, its key features and the intended audience
• Required to carry out a mix of key functional and non-functional tests such as Sanity, Regression, Load, Security and Deployment
• Required to plan test cases in consultation with the stake holders
• Required to document all bugs and findings of these tests and ensuring they are addressed

Required Skills:

Mandatory: Passionate about sports, Problem solving, Team player, Target & Result oriented.

Functional: Manual Functional Testing of Web and Mobile Applications, Writing Test Cases, Regression Testing, Data Verification, GIT & JIRA, Basic Automation Testing,

• 3+ years demonstrated experience in the Testing Web & mobile applications.

• Create and maintain API-based automation test scripts using tools like J meter, SoapUI or Postman
• API Automation using Soap UI/Rest assured / Postman (Mandatory)
