Postman- Work with our proprietary Java and Kotlin based SDK to find performance and functionality-related issues.
- Working with in-house Dashboards to perform testing of UI and APIs.
- Collaborating with teams to create test documents.
- Planning and task management in congruence with the Leadership Team.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Expertise in testing different QA Methodologies black box, white box, and gray box for both web UIs and backends both manually and automation.
- Ability to code and maintain back-end automation frameworks written in distributed programming languages such as Python.
- Ability to automate Android applications using tools such as Appium.
- Hands-on experience on API testing and testing tools like Postman, Rest-Assured, or other API testing tools.
- Experience working with Proxy tools like Charles Proxy, Fiddler.
- Excellent in test strategizing, planning, estimation, execution, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of Agile scrum methodologies Strong debugging, problem-solving, interpersonal and troubleshooting skills.

Introduction:

Responsibilities:
In this role you will collaborate with the engineering team and shall be responsible for:
• Test new and existing features (units and integration) and report errors and failures
• Work collaboratively with the developing team to correct errors and participate in testing for product releases

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience as a QA Manual Tester
• Experience in Manual testing dashboards and chatbots shall be a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or college diploma in QA Testing

Our Requirements
● BTech/MTech in Computer Science or equivalent
● Highly skilled in writing test cases, test scripts and handling corner cases
● Should have worked on developing tools or frameworks to test complex
micro-services, client applications, systems at scale.
● Expert level knowledge in one or more programming languages(preferably in
JavaScript/Java)
● Good knowledge on the Infrastructure, CI/CD toolchains and ecosystem
● Excellent knowledge of databases and querying language
Postman● Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely
and meaningful feedback
● Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
● Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
● Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
● Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
● Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
● Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system
requirements
● Monitor debugging process results
● Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
● Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
● Prepare and keep updating documentation such as
o Test Artifacts ( Test plans, Test cases etc)

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
● Atleast 1 years of experience in Product QA, Web plus Mobile Testing
● Experience & knowledge of tools like JIRA, Postman
● Understanding the Product Development life-cycle and the customer requirements
● Problem solving, detail-orientation and basic communication skills
● Agile mindset with the capacity to iterate quickly, test things with a lean approach
Educational Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
● Additional business degree/Certification in Agile or Scrum preferred

- 2+ yrs experience with manual testing on mobile (automation testing is an advantage)
- Manual testing experience in testing for Android & iOS is MUST
- JIRA or other bug tracking tool experience
- The QA Analyst will be expected to complete manual testing on both iOS and Android devices, be able to enter findings into Jira, and follow up on defects discovered
- PRD Reviews, Test Case coverage and Execution, able to handle End to End Application testing and release process.
- API testing experience and Basic SQL knowledge
- ADB commands, Android Studio, Xcode, Understanding Logs, SDK’s.
- Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is maintained. Good To Have Skills :
- Experience in setting up automation testing infrastructure & writing automation testing scripts for Android, iOS & APIs
- Work on Automation framework
- Work on continuous integration tools
