I have 25 years of big law firm, small law firm and in-house General Counsel experience. I represent start-up companies, founders and investors, with most clients based in the Bay Area. My practice is growing and I am also involved in other business ventures. I need a strong attorney with excellent client relationship skills who can provide legal services directly to my clients with minimal supervision. My office is in downtown San Francisco, but this is a work-from-home position (or work from your own office). You would be available for occasional face-to-face meetings in the Bay Area.This is a great opportunity with the potential for long-term partnership prospects. Initially, you will start out part-time on a contractor basis and depending on your level of experience, will receive up to $150/hr per billable hour. You should consider this position if you enjoy practicing law, but may be tired of the grind of a big firm or in-house department, want something more flexible, do not want to commute anymore and/or want to be more entrepreneurial. You must be able to work autonomously, be able to do transactions quickly and efficiently, provide excellent client support for technology clients (such as responding to client calls and emails promptly) and have a good sense of humor.
