We are hiring for the position of Automation Tester for one of a US Product based company.

Location: Chennai

Skills: Automation Testing, Postman, Cypress, API Testing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer science or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience writing and executing detailed test cases, test plans and test design documents
• 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing an automation framework of front-end, back-end, and REST API services\applications.
• Experience in leading test automation practices for Agile and DevOps teams across an agile environment.
• Experience and strong understanding of automation tools such as Selenium Web driver, SoapUI, Client UFT, and JMeter.
• Hands-on experience in unit test frameworks like NUnit/ MS Test.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Test Rails to log bugs and test results.
• Working knowledge and experience of Agile with Scrum methodology.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Team player as well as a self-starter who needs little supervision. Able to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and foster a team-oriented, results-driven culture.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

• Ability to create test plans from business requirements and technical specifications.

• Strong Knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, JavaScript, Postman, Web Services, and Rest services.

• Demonstration work experience in API Testing using Postman.

• Strong Knowledge of Zephyr Scale in Jira for UI testing.

• Advanced technical QA experience.

• Knowledge of best practices, procedures and software development lifecycle.

• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and associated methodologies.

• Solid understanding of SQL/SQL queries and automated testing, preferred.

• Ability to create test plans from business requirements or technical specifications.

• Strong skills that promote and facilitate the performance of project team members.

• Prioritizes and uses time efficiently; develops realistic action plans

• Highly flexible and able to make quick assessments of needs and priorities.

• Initiative to recognize and resolve problems.

• Familiarity with Automation Testing.

• Excellent communication skills and experience communicating with a variety of staff levels.

• Experience communicating plans and reporting status to both team, executive management and pertinent stakeholders.

• Advanced Skills in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities and Duties

• To Lead and execute the whole of the procurement function or in parts for Commercial Interiors category as per company norms
• Responsible for purchase decisions that impact cost of purchase, quality of purchase and timeliness of delivery etc of the purchase in relation to commercial interiors
• Implement Industry best practices for Purchase / Procurement by implementing Processes including automation of purchase processes, creating and revising existing procedures and formats used for purchase, updating the database and enhancing vendor connect
• To ensure internal customer delight by timely processing of quotes received from the site / vendors, evaluation of vendors in the line of priority for cost/quality/delivery/process compliance etc, management of payment cycles, inventory management and implementing effective mechanisms in purchase management
• Managing team of procurement executives or offices and freshers wherever applicable to deliver the team objectives by managing team interactions effectively and in collaborative manner . Equally so to manage individual contributor role in procurement function
• Responsible for periodic purchase related MIS and relevant daily, weekly and monthly reports to the management

HRBP

1. Advise managers on organizational policy matters and recommend needed changes.
2. Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of the organization's HR policies and practices.
3. Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee separation.
4. Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning HR-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
5. Administer disciplinary procedures.
6. Plan and conduct new employee orientation and induction programs to foster a positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
7. Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and employee relations.
8. Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
9. Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
10. Administer employee recognition awards.
11. Plan, organize, direct and coordinate the training activities of the organization.
12. Responsible for the successful implementation, monitoring and coordinating of all the activities regarding HR Software.
13. Preparation and maintenance of MIS related to Attrition.
14. Administer performance management systems and recreation programs.
