Role Overview

Elecroom is building a next-generation commerce platform and is seeking a product-driven Full-Stack Developer with a specialization in front-end development.

The ideal candidate will:

• Take ownership of our end-to-end user experience, spanning React with Redux Toolkit and React Native
• Build modular, high-performance UIs
• Collaborate with our backend team to consume services built in Django and FastAPI

Experience Required: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in shipping production-ready features

Key Responsibilities

Front-End Engineering

• Develop and ship modular, responsive UIs for web and mobile applications using React and React Native
• Architect and manage global application state with Redux Toolkit and RTK Query for efficient data fetching and caching
• Collaborate closely with the design team to translate mockups and wireframes into accessible, pixel-perfect user interfaces
• Consume and integrate with backend REST/OpenAPI services

Back-End Collaboration

• Work with backend developers to design efficient API endpoints and data models that support new frontend features
• Gain a solid understanding of our backend architecture built on Django, Python Microservices, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and AWS

DevOps & Testing

• Ensure the quality and reliability of frontend code through React Testing Library and Playwright
• Utilize a Git-centric development workflow with disciplined pull-request management

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have:

• 2+ years of professional experience delivering production-level applications using React and Redux
• Expertise in React (hooks, TypeScript) and Redux Toolkit for complex state management
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with React Native for mobile development
• Strong understanding of backend services and REST API principles
• Hands-on experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable in async and distributed team environments

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Expo EAS, Tailwind CSS, or React Bootstrap
• Familiarity with Django or FastAPI frameworks
• Knowledge of asynchronous Python patterns and REST best practices
• Experience with AWS Lambda or other serverless functions
• Interest in monorepo tooling like Nx/Turborepo
