📌 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Build responsive, mobile-first e-commerce interfaces across all devices
• Implement custom features and functionalities based on client needs
• Optimize themes for speed, performance, and UX
• Integrate third-party apps and APIs with Shopify stores
• Troubleshoot and resolve theme-related bugs and issues
• Collaborate closely with designers to convert mockups into functional themes
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to web standards
• Maintain and enhance existing Shopify stores
• Stay updated with Shopify releases, best practices, and trends

🛠 Required Technical Skills

• 1+ years of experience in frontend web development
• Strong proficiency in Liquid
• Expert-level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Vanilla JavaScript
• Solid understanding of Shopify theme architecture & file structure
• Experience with Shopify CLI
• Strong grasp of responsive/mobile-first development
• Familiarity with Git/version control
• Knowledge of web performance optimization (must-have)
• Shopify API & App development experience (nice-to-have)
• Experience with SASS/SCSS (plus)

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

What you’ll do

• Be part of a team building a web and mobile web app from grounds up
• Drive frontend development for our product.
• Work fast, carefully evaluate the technical tradeoffs of every decision
• Collaborate with design and product on user experience and interface
• Build responsive & re-usable UI components using ReactJS
• Maintain code and write unit tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong proficiency in developing with Javascript/ReactJS/AngualrJS
• Strong command of HTML5 and CSS
• Comfortable collaborating with designers and translating designs into high-quality code
• Familiarity with REST APIs
• Familiarity with Git for version control
• Strong communication skills - verbal and written

Minimum Qualifications

A degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related fields or relevant experience to demonstrate your abilities and aptitude

2+ years of experience in developing consumer or SaaS web apps or websites

Good to Have

Experience in building real-time frontend and backend data sync applications

Demonstrated an interest for UX and UI

Experience with: AWS, Shopify

• Must have - Javascript, React JS, React Native, Typescript
• Good to have - Andriod/iOS, Express.JS, Angular, VUE, Team Lead experience/Scrum Master, Design Experience
• Working Experience on building Dashboards, UI Prototypes, Internal Tools

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of experience in React, Redux 
• Experience with Build systems e.g. Webpack/Grunt/Gulp 
• In-depth knowledge of HTML/XHTML/HTML5 
• Experience with Testing frameworks e.g. Karma/Jasmine/Protractor/Cucumber/Mocha/Jest 
• Experience with interface development toolkits: e.g. Less/SASS 
• Experience with web service integration protocols such as REST & GraphQL 
• In-depth knowledge of Javascript e.g. ES5/ES6/Typescript 
• Strong Knowledge of CSS 3 
• Must be a strong team player 
• Have a good understanding of design and user experience principles.
