Key Responsibilities
- Design, write, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and regression suites for web and API-based applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across multiple product modules.
- Build and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Develop and enhance AI-based test suite creation and automation processes to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Test payment workflows, reconciliation logic, financial calculations, and transaction-related systems with high accuracy.
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and REST Assured.
- Validate backend data and perform data integrity checks using SQL queries.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and release validation activities.
- Monitor product quality metrics and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards.
- Ensure timely reporting, tracking, and closure of defects using defect management tools.
Required Experience
- 2–4 years of professional experience in QA / Software Testing for SaaS, fintech, or enterprise products.
- Hands-on experience with both manual and automation testing methodologies.
- Experience in AI-based testing frameworks or intelligent test automation is preferred.
- Exposure to testing financial systems, payment flows, reconciliation logic, or financial calculations is a strong plus.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle, QA methodologies, and defect management processes.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent frameworks.
