Requirements:

• Translating requirements into technical specifications for reporting.
• Review stakeholder business specifications for understanding development needs
• Design and develop custom data analytics solutions (SSRS, and SQL stored procedures, views and functions).
• Design and develop Power BI Reports and Dashboards for meeting business stakeholder needs
• Design, develop, and thoroughly test all developed scripts
• Perform ad hoc data analysis as needed or required
• Monitor KPIs and create alerts when thresholds are met or exceeded
• Use advanced level calculations on the data set using DAX functions within Power BI
• Test all dashboard visualization and code ensuring functionality and expected performance measures
• Fully document the process used and the methodologies implemented
• Train and support end users in using Power BI dashboards
• Ensure data security and compliance with best practices following internally provided SQL Standards

Skills needed:

• Minimum 3 years professional experience as a Power BI Developer
• Minimum 3 years SSRS development experience
• Minimum 3 years SQL Server development experience
• Proficiency in Power BI Development, including report and dashboard creation
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts
• Experience with T-SQL for data manipulation and extraction
• Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proven ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences

Job Description

We are looking for a high-potential individual who will virtually shadow the Managing Director, acting as the first port of call to translate leadership vision into clear execution plans and ensure those plans are actually put on the ground.

This role is not static. It is a role like an Amoeba. It includes expanding and contracting based on organisational needs, individual aptitude, and ownership. At times, the work will involve higher-order strategic and governance initiatives; at other times, it will require hands-on support to remove day- to-day bottlenecks from the MD’s life.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Organisational Enablement

·       Get things done that are of organisation-wide importance, cutting across functions and hierarchies
