Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst with 2 to 4 years of work experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support informed decision-making and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1.      Data Collection and Extraction:

§ Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets and APIs,

§ Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

2.      Data Analysis:

§ Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

§ Conduct analysis and data modeling to generate insights and forecasts.

§ Create data visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders.

3.      Data Interpretation and Insight Generation:

§ Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for business improvements.

§ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide data-driven solutions.

4.      Data Quality Assurance:

§ Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

§ Identify and address data quality issues promptly.

Qualifications:

1.      Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

2.      Proven work experience as a Data Analyst, with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.

3.      Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes is advantageous.

4.      Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).

5.      Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

6.      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

7.      Excellent communication and presentation skills.

8.      Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

9.      Familiarity with machine learning and predictive modeling is a bonus.

• Minimum 4 years’ experience developing Node.js applications on top of RESTful APIs.
• Experience building single page applications using JavaScript frameworks and libraries (React)
• Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform and design constraints on the web.
• Experience with test automation: TDD, unit/integration/functional testing.

• Experience with tracking and improving critical KPIs on a dashboard.
• Content is going to be a huge part of our marketing efforts. Having experience in driving relevant traffic from content and measuring conversion and ROI from it is required.
• Strong understanding of how to drive relevant traffic from channels like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, search – both organic and paid.
• Practical experience with email marketing is a must. Proficiency with marketing tools & technologies like email automation, landing page design and instrumentation, and A/B testing are a must.
• Strong sense of product as you’ll be a key influencer in how the product shapes over time.
• Creative thinker, story-teller and problem solver with attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably a master’s degree is required.
• Hands on experience in the eCommerce domain, especially on the seller side.
• Understand how to build and nurture a community of users, advocates and influencers and use this to amplify the word of mouth for the product.
• Exceptional writing skills, ability to edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar and accuracy.
• Hands on experience or comfortable with any or all of the following: SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript or programming in any language is a strong plus.
• Any experience with data sciences and analytics, R or python.
• Knowledge of or experience with UI/UX, graphics design or product management.
• US education is a strong plus. All customers are in the US to having spent time there and cultural familiarity is helpful.

• Apply Data Science and Machine Learning to a REAL-LIFE  problem  - “Predict Guest Arrivals and Determine Best Prices for Hotels”
• Apply advanced analytics in a BIG Data Environment – AWS, MongoDB, SKLearn
• Help scale up the product in a global offering across 100+  global markets

• Minimum 3 years of experience with advanced data analytic techniques, including data mining, machine learning, statistical analysis, and optimization.    Student projects are acceptable.
• At least 1 year of experience with Python / Numpy / Pandas / Scipy/ MatPlotLib / Scikit-Learn
•   Experience in working with massive data sets, including structured and unstructured with at least 1 prior engagement involving data gathering, data cleaning, data mining, and data visualization
•   Solid grasp over  optimization techniques
•   Master's  or PhD degree in Business Analytics.  Data science, Statistics or Mathematics
•   Ability to show a track record of solving large, complex problems

JD - Senior Dev with more than 5 years relevant experience

1. Working experience on web development using Python/Django
2. Comfortable with using Django framework.
3. Understanding of web servers
4. Knowledge in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other database queries
5. Experience in using Redis cache.
6. Understanding of web technologies
7. Experience in REST API development using Django.
8. Strong hold on Apache
9. Integration of data storage solutions
10. Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
11. Understanding of JavaScript, and front-end JS frameworks like VueJS, React JS and Angular JS
12. Good communication skill
13. .net/.NET core will be an added advantage
