Job description

As a Mid-Level Python Developer, you will:

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
•  Work with project managers and product owners to meet specification needs.
• Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency.
• Deliver scalable and responsive software using TypeScript and Python.
•  Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code.
• Create flowcharts and user guides for new and existing programs.
• Document all programming tasks and procedures.
• Perform routine software maintenance.
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines. This includes scaling the pipeline to accommodate anticipated volume and complexity.
• Collaborate with external clients and internal team members to meet product deadlines.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Experience with AWS Services(must)
•  A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fields
•  4 - 8 years of experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields
•  Expert-level experience with Python and Node.JS
• Familiarity and comfort with REST APIs
•  A deadline and detail-oriented mindframe
•  Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and best practices
• Experience developing scalable data processing systems

Bonus points for someone with:

• Experience with IoT, ML, AI, or VR
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) certification(s) (preferred)
• Experience with microcomputers and microcontrollers
• Experience with the following DevOps services: AWS
• CodePipeline, CodeBuild or CodeCommit
• Experience with the following Data Engineering services: AWS Lake Formation, Glue, Redshift, EMR, or QuickSight.

Backend Developer

Qualification: B.Tech./MCA, BCA in Computer Science or equivalent

Experience:     3 - 6 Years

Skills Required:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Technical design, implementation, deployment, and support.
• Partner with Business Analysts to review and implement business

requirements.

• Perform development and unit testing, working closely with Business.
• Mentors and oversees development of resources, including reviewing designs and performing code reviews.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Developing high - volume, low - latency applications for mission - critical systems and delivering high - availability and performance
• Should have experience of working on Core Java/J2EE & OOPS concept
• Should be well versed with Spring/Struts & Apache Came l (OSGI Framework)

• Developing and deploying new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary

What you need to have:

Roles & Responsibilities :

• You’ll work as part of the software engineering team along with other front-end, back-end, mobile app, QA teams & you will also closely work with the founder.
• You should be able to take the ownership of a project end to end.
• Your primary focus will be to build, implement & maintain the complete back-end stack of the product.
• You will create production grade code and will implement the solutions which run bug free.
• Participate in product development discussions and product development road-maps.
• Collaborate with members across departments to identify and build on improvements to product, process and systems.

• Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 2 to 6 years of software development experience.
• Experience of working on application architecture design will be preferred.
• Experience of working in at least 1 or 2 projects, managing or leading the entire tasks.
• Experience in Docker/Kubernetes, Agile methodologies & CI/CD  automation process.
• Knowledge of Queueing technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Version control using Git.
• Experience in microservices architecture, in-memory systems like Redis and basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience of building applications processing large volumes of streaming data will be preferred.
• Experience from a middle size company or from a startup will be preferred.
• BE/MCA/MSc in Computers/Information technology with a good academic record.

VMWare NSBU HCX team is looking for passionate engineers with a startup mindset and ready to solve business problems by applying technical engineering knowledge. You will be a part of enterprise class HCX cloud mobility platform to help customers solve datacenter evacuation, consolidation and hybrid cloud use cases. You’ll be part of a dynamic engineering team where a passion for innovation is a key to address technical problems, improve performance and scalability and focus on continuous improvement is of paramount importance. You will be a part of R&D development team focused on various aspects of HCX ranging from workload mobility to networking in the context of hybrid cloud paradigm. As part of the job, you will work with senior architects and other engineers of the team to deliver world class enterprise class product.

Required Skills:

• Background with Computer Science fundamentals (based on a BS or MS in CS or related field) with 4+ years of substantial professional experience
• Strong programming skills in Java/Go/Python
• Knowledge of distributed systems
• Understanding of Micro Services architecture, REST APIs Design and Development 
• Understanding of Kubernetes, Kafka, No-sql, Java/Sprint, Client MVC
• Exposure to one or more UI technologies
• Organized and passionate about details; able to effectively perform multiple/concurrent tasks within deadlines in a dynamic environment

Preferred Skills:

• Strong knowledge about virtualization, and/or container technologies
• Experience in SDN/Networking/Network Management domain is added plus
• Exposure to AWS, Azure is added plus

What will you do?

• You will be responsible for the design and development of large-scale, multi-tenant, distributed systems using scalable, fault-tolerant architecture with distributed queues (kafka), distributed caches (redis), high volume data stores (MongoDB, Cassandra, elasticsearch), container-centric deployments (kubernetes).
• Write Java codes using best practices with high quality standards.
• Participate in code reviews and deep dive into design discussions.
