✨ Job Summary 

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for building the backend services and APIs that power our web and mobile applications. 

✅ Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot 
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient backend code 
• Integrate databases, caching layers, and data storage solutions 
• Implement security and data protection best practices 
• Monitor and optimize application performance 
• Work with DevOps tools to manage builds and deployments 
• Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies 

🧠 Required Skills: 

• Strong programming experience in Java 8+ 
• Proficient in Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA 
• Hands-on with REST APIs, JSON, Postman 
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) 
• Experience with Maven/Gradle, Git, Jenkins 
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS is a plus 
• Understanding of OOP, design patterns, and microservice architecture 

🎓 Qualifications:

Required Skills: 

• 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level, n-tier, software solutions.  
• Proficiency with Microsoft C# is a must.  
• In-depth experience with .NET framework and .NET Core.  
• Knowledge of OOP, server technologies, and SOA is a must. 3+ Years Micro-service experience .  
• Relevant experience with database design and SQL (Postgres is preferred).  
• Experience with ORM tooling.  
• Experience delivering software that is correct, stable, and security compliant.  
• Basic understanding of common cloud platform. (Good to have)
• Financial services experience is strongly preferred.

• To perform requirement analysis and oversee the implementation of architectures of project scope

• 3+ years of experience developing Backend, API and data-based applications/software
• Experience with one of the major relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, Postgres) and NoSQL databases (Mongo DB, Cassandra, Dynamo DB or such)
• Expert object-oriented programming experience using Java
• Strong OO design and programming skills in Java, Hibernate, JPA, Spring Boot
• Worked in Maven, JPA, REST services, Postman
• Working knowledge on Spring Security / Spring Batch / ZUUL / Eureka / Hysterix
• Exposure with Frontend technologies (React.js, Angular or Ruby-on-Rails)
• Require experience and Strong understanding of entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile (Scrum), Software design/architecture process, unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Experience with web services (consuming or creating)
• Experience managing Cloud infrastructure (resources and service) in AWS, Azure and/or GCP
• Strong knowledge of SOA, object-oriented programming, design patterns, multi-threaded application development
• Experience in reporting and analytics, queuing and real-time streaming systems
• Git or similar distributed SCM tools experience.

Your work is consistently of high quality. You solve complex problems, applying appropriate technologies, design patterns, and best practices. Your focus is on a major portion of existing or new team software. You work with your team to design and build software that is secure, correct, observable, and resilient. Your solutions are pragmatic. You identify the proper level of complexity for a task and advise your peers and manager on technical approach.

• Design, implement, and maintain developer-friendly APIs and services

• Contribute to code and architecture reviews to keep our code quality high
• Debug and resolve production issues; take part in blameless postmortems
• Plan and execute smooth migrations to new technology as a way of managing technical debt

As a Senior Software Engineer - I,you'll take on complex problems that span multiple components and teams. As SSE - I, you could expect to: 

• Independently own one or more multiple modules, which includes: requirement analysis, design, development, maintenance & support
• Write extensive, efficient code to address complex modules and that handles interaction between multiple components. 
• Rapidly iterate to add new functionalities and solves complex problems with simple and intuitive solutions

Minimum Requirements: 

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant software development experience

Requirements:

• Academic degree (BE / MCA) with 3-10 years of experience in back-end Development.
• Strong knowledge of OOPS concepts, Analyzing, Designing, Development and Unit testing
• Scala technologies, AKKA, REST Webservices, SOAP, Jackson JSON API, JUnit, Mockito, Maven
• Hands-on experience with Play framework
• Familiarity with Microservice Architecture
• Experience working with Apache Tomcat server or TomEE
• Experience working with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra), writing custom queries, procedures, and designing schemas.
• Good to have front end experience (JavaScript, Angular JS/ React JS)
