Staff Backend Engineer

JOB PROFILE: - SOFTWARE ENGINEER TRAINEE

• Experience with Web fundamentals like HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and JSP, etc.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented JavaScript (OOJS), ES6,
• Hands-on exp in Web app development using modern client-side MVC frameworks using ReactJS
• Thorough understanding of ReactJs and its core principles
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Experience developing custom reusable components in ReactJS
• Proficient understanding of unit testing using JavaScript test frameworks like JEST
• Experience integrating REST APIs
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Backend Developer/FullStack Developer - ANGULAR,JAVA

• Rewrite existing APIs in NodeJS. 
• Remodel the APIs into Micro services-based architecture. 
• Implement a caching layer wherever possible. 
• Optimize the API for high performance and scalability. 
• Write unit tests for API Testing.
• Automate the code testing and deployment process.

Skills Required: 

• At least 2 years of experience developing Backends using NodeJS — should be well versed with its asynchronous nature & event loop, and know its quirks and workarounds. 
• Excellent hands-on experience using MySQL or any other SQL Database. 
• Good knowledge of MongoDB or any other NoSQL Database. 
• Good knowledge in postgre
• Good knowledge of Redis, its data types, and their use cases. 
• Experience with graph-based databases like GraphQL and Neo4j. 
• Experience developing and deploying REST APIs. 
• Good knowledge of Unit Testing and available Test Frameworks. 
• Good understanding of advanced JS libraries and frameworks. 
• Experience with Web sockets, Service Workers, and Web Push Notifications. 
• Familiar with NodeJS profiling tools. 
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git. 
• Good knowledge of creating and maintaining DevOps infrastructure on cloud platforms. 
• Should be a fast learner and a go-getter — without any fear of trying out new things Preferences. 
• Experience building a large scale social or location-based app

Roles & Responsibilities

- Writing good quality code.

- Be able to design ,implement and deploy scalable backend applications on cloud(AWS/Azure).

- Be able to take ownership of projects and deliver them on time.

- Be able to lead a team and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications:

- BE/BTech degree in CS/IT or similar related field.

- 4+ years experience as backend engineer.

- Good knowledge in Python and at least one of the framework - Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.

- Hands on experience in building microservices applications on AWS/GCP/Azure.

- Good understanding of platforms(Docker, AWS/Azure).

- Must have good understanding of Data Structures/Algorithms/Databases and other CS concepts.

- Experience working in multiple databases and data modelling.

- Experience writing APIs and related technologies like REST, JSON, websockets, grpc etc.

- Should be inquisitive enough picking up any language and frameworks based on need.

- Should be able to design/implement/deploy end-to-end systems.

- Having good knowledge on deploying cloud applications and with Dockers/Kubernetes is a plus.

- Experience building end-to-end analytics systems is a plus.

• You have an overall software development experience of 4 to 10 years
• 3+ years proficiency in Java and Spring boot
• Familiar with distributed computing and frameworks such as gRPC/ protobuf
• Understands JVM metrics, Garbage collection and performance tuning
• Experience in creating high-level design(HLD) and low-level design(LLD)
• You have a good understanding of relational database, NoSQL technologies, and REST
• Good to have experience in HTML, JavaScript, GraphQL, TypeScript, ReactJS and related toolsets
• Exposure to AWS stack/cloud computing
• Self-motivated developer who takes ownership of work
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computing related discipline
• Experience in Product Development Environment is a plus.

Have an experience building backend server side applications in Node.js and Express.js

Have in-depth knowledge and experience of using ES6+ features and Object Oriented Principles

Have sound knowledge and are familiar with databases like MongoDb - (Preferred) and Mysql.

Have good exposure to cloud native technologies (AWS Lambda, S3, RDS, etc) 

Have working knowledge of version control (Git) and continuous deployment 

Have experience in optimising backend API’s and database queries for optimal performance.

You are good at problem solving and have analytical skills 

You are flexible in adapting new technologies and frameworks as per the projects needs

Proven expertise in managing API services (REST and SOAP)
