Description:

• Strong experience with 32-bit microcontrollers such as STM32, NXP, Renesas, TI, Microchip, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of C/C++ programming and exposure to Assembly.
• Strong experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS, µC/OS, embOS, VxWorks, QNX, etc.
• Hands-on experience in developing HAL, BSP and low-level device drivers.
• Strong understanding of microcontroller peripherals and interfaces** including ADC, DAC, I2C, SPI, UART, CAN/CAN FD, RS485, DMA, Ethernet, SD/eMMC, SDIO, etc.
• Strong experience with Automotive communication protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, LIN, J1939 and UDS.
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR concepts and architecture is an advantage.
• Experience with automotive diagnostics, ECU communication, and vehicle network architecture.
• Hands-on experience using Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Function Generator, Multimeter and other debugging equipment.
• Experience in board bring-up, hardware-software integration and debugging of embedded boards.
• Ability to debug power, clock, reset, communication interfaces, and peripheral-related hardware issues at board level.
• Good understanding of schematics, PCB layouts and electronic circuits around microcontrollers and ARM-based systems.
• Ability to work closely with hardware engineers for design reviews, component selection, hardware validation, and issue resolution.
• Experience with prototype board testing, hardware validation, and root-cause analysis of HW/SW issues.
• Experience in reverse engineering and debugging of embedded systems.
• Strong understanding of embedded system architecture and system-level design.
• Experience with Embedded Linux and/or RTOS-based systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including OSI layers, TCP/IP stacks and common IP protocols is a plus.
• Knowledge of NMEA/NMEA 2000 standards is a plus.
• Exposure to ASPICE, ISO 26262, MISRA-C and automotive cybersecurity is an advantage.
• Experience with automotive development and debugging tools such as Vector CANoe/CANalyzer is a plus.

Job Summary

We are looking for an Automotive Cybersecurity Engineer with expertise in designing and

implementing cybersecurity mechanisms for AUTOSAR, QNX, Android, and Linux-based

automotive platforms. The role focuses on embedded security, secure coding, cryptographic

solutions, and protecting next-generation automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop security mechanisms for AUTOSAR, QNX, Android, and Linux

environments.

• Implement secure boot, secure flashing, secure diagnostics, access control, secure

compiler usage, and firewall mechanisms.

• Develop HSM/TEE-based security solutions and secure key storage.

• Implement hardware-based cryptographic operations.

• Develop secure embedded software using C/C++.

• Perform vulnerability analysis and security validation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.

• Use Python and GenAI tools (including G-HUB) to improve automation and engineering

productivity.

• Conduct code reviews and enforce secure coding practices.

• Prepare technical documentation and support security audits.

Required Skills

• 6–9 years of embedded software or automotive cybersecurity experience.

• Strong experience with AUTOSAR, QNX, Android, or Linux.

• Knowledge of secure boot, secure flashing, secure diagnostics, access control, secure

compiler usage, and firewalls.

• Experience with HSM, TEE, secure key storage, and hardware cryptography.

• Strong C/C++ programming skills.

• Knowledge of MISRA and CERT secure coding standards.

• Working knowledge of Python and GenAI tools such as G-HUB.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ISO 21434 and automotive cybersecurity standards.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Embedded
