About the Role

We are seeking an exceptionally talented and intellectually strong Design Lead who can build, lead, and inspire our in-house design team. This is a high-impact role for someone who understands how fast-growing D2C brands operate and can translate brand narratives into powerful visual identities.

The ideal candidate has graduated from a leading design school, possesses a deep understanding of brand-building, and can create everything—from logo, brand language, packaging, and social media designs to website visuals, AI-driven creatives, and marketing collaterals—with consistency and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Identity & Visual Language Development

Create and maintain the entire brand theme—including logo, color palette, typography, patterns, UI/UX style, and creative language.

Translate abstract brand narratives into compelling visual identities that resonate with consumers.

Build design systems and guidelines to keep all creatives aligned and consistent.

2. Creative Design & Execution

Oversee and create:

Social media creatives

Video design & motion graphics

AI-generated creatives

Packaging design (boxes, covers, sleeves, labels)

Marketing collaterals (brochures, flyers, banners, posters)

Website design and landing pages

Brand showreels and visual storytelling content

Ensure high-quality, on-brand designs for all marketing, product, and communication needs.

3. Team Leadership & Management

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of graphic designers, motion artists, illustrators, and design interns.

Hire top talent and build a high-performance creative team.

Review creative output and ensure timely, creative, and error-free delivery.

Train the team on brand guidelines, visual storytelling, and new design trends.

4. Strategy & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with founders, marketing, product, production, and script teams to conver

Required Skills & Qualifications

5–10+ years of design experience, preferably with leading D2C brands or creative agencies.

Graduation from a reputed design school (NID, NIFT, IDC, Srishti, Pearl, MIT-ID, etc.).

Strong portfolio demonstrating brand identity creation, packaging design, digital creatives, and storytelling capability.

Proficiency in design tools: Adobe Suite, Figma, and modern AI-based design tools.

Deep understanding of brand psychology, consumer behavior, and design communication.

Proven experience building and managing design teams.

Role and Responsibilities

• Execute data mining projects, training and deploying models over a typical duration of 2 -12 months.
• The ideal candidate should be able to innovate, analyze the customer requirement, develop a solution in the time box of the project plan, execute and deploy the solution.
• Integrate the data mining projects embedded data mining applications in the FogHorn platform (on Docker or Android).

Core Qualifications
Candidates must meet ALL of the following qualifications:

• Have analyzed, trained and deployed at least three data mining models in the past. If the candidate did not directly deploy their own models, they will have worked with others who have put their models into production. The models should have been validated as robust over at least an initial time period.
• Three years of industry work experience, developing data mining models which were deployed and used.
• Programming experience in Python is core using data mining related libraries like Scikit-Learn. Other relevant Python mining libraries include NumPy, SciPy and Pandas.
• Data mining algorithm experience in at least 3 algorithms across: prediction (statistical regression, neural nets, deep learning, decision trees, SVM, ensembles), clustering (k-means, DBSCAN or other) or Bayesian networks

In 2018, our Data Science Solutions team grew from 4 to 9.  We are growing again from 11. We work on revenue generating projects for clients, such as predictive maintenance, time to failure, manufacturing defects.  About half of our projects have been related to vision recognition or deep learning. We are not only working on consulting projects but developing vertical solution applications that run on our Lightning platform, with embedded data mining.
