Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented WordPress Technical Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of WordPress-based web development projects.

In this role, you will bridge communication between clients, designers, developers, QA, and leadership to ensure alignment, efficiency, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

From discovery to deployment, you’ll define scope, manage resources, maintain timelines, and champion proactive communication. Familiarity with AI tools for estimation, QA, and automation will be a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage end-to-end delivery of WordPress projects (custom themes, plugins, WooCommerce, multisite, etc.)

Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, create briefs, and define milestones

Translate business and technical requirements into project plans and actionable tasks

Coordinate across developers, designers, QA, SEO, and other stakeholders

Lead sprint planning, daily standups, and weekly reviews using tools like ClickUp or Jira

Track and report on timelines, billable hours, delivery margins, and resource utilization

Enforce adherence to SOPs, coding standards, and QA protocols

Conduct risk assessments, manage scope creep, and escalate blockers as needed

Maintain clear communication with clients, including status updates, delays, and delivery risks

Explore and integrate AI tools to improve estimation, QA, and internal delivery processes

Must-Have Skills & Experience

5+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years managing WordPress projects

Strong understanding of WordPress architecture (themes, plugins, ACF, page builders like Elementor & Gutenberg, WooCommerce, CSS, HTML)

Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent client projects

Proficiency in tools like ClickUp, Jira, or Trello

Excellent documentation, briefing, and client communication skills

Familiarity with Git workflows, deployment processes, and basic server environments

Experience working with distributed cross-functional teams

 Bonus Skills (Good-to-Have)

Knowledge of technical SEO, performance optimization, and ADA compliance in WordPress

Exposure to AI tools for QA automation, estimation, and effort tracking (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot)

Experience in a white-label or digital agency environment

Understanding of frontend frameworks or headless WordPress architecture

About:Join the core team delivering 24x7 operational support for a large-scale Virtual Desktop and Applications environment supporting 90,000–100,000 users and 50,000+ VMs across Citrix, Azure, and VMware platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support, monitoring, and maintenance for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Azure Virtual Desktop, and VMware environments.
• Lead efforts to enhance image management, patching, provisioning, and migration processes.
• Manage incident triage, root cause analysis, and documentation within ITSM tools.
• Create and maintain PowerShell scripts and other automation solutions for routine tasks.
• Collaborate with US and offshore teams for seamless 24x7 support operations.
• Prepare daily and weekly operational reports summarizing key metrics, incidents, and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in client review meetings to discuss performance and backlog reduction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years in End User Compute (EUC) operations with 5+ years on Azure, Citrix, and VMware platforms.
• Proven experience in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Azure Virtual Desktop, VMware Horizon, and Windows OS troubleshooting.
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
• Hands-on experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration in distributed teams.
• Ability to work independently and drive technical improvements.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in Citrix Cloud, Citrix Studio, MCS/PVS, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise virtual desktop environments (50k+ users).
• Exposure to automation and orchestration frameworks in VDI environments.

Reporting

• Submit daily operational summaries and weekly performance reports covering trends, incidents, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with the Domestic CVS Operations Manager (US) for review meetings and escalation handling.

Position Overview: 

As our Senior Engineer (Back End), you'll be responsible for building new features, enhancing the existing ones as well as supporting them in production. Desired Candidate Profile
