
Job Description
We are hiring a SEO Team Lead with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in managing on-page and off-page SEO activities. The ideal candidate should be capable of leading SEO strategy and execution while mentoring junior team members and collaborating across departments to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research aligned with business goals.
- Implement on-page SEO (meta tags, internal linking, URL structure, etc.).
- Execute off-page SEO (link building, guest posting, outreach).
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Perform regular SEO audits and resolve technical issues with developers.
- Optimize content and coordinate with the content team for keyword alignment.
- Analyze competitors to identify SEO opportunities.
- Create monthly SEO performance reports with actionable insights.
- Apply the latest SEO algorithms and AI-based SEO techniques (must).
- Strong knowledge of Technical SEO, Google Search Console, and Core Web Vitals is essential.
- Stay updated with SEO trends and collaborate with tech teams to ensure SEO-friendly site structure.
- Handle client communication, participate in regular client calls to discuss progress, reports, and strategic planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SEO (both on-page and off-page).
- Strong working knowledge of major SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Good understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS and website structure for SEO troubleshooting.
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in handling client calls and reporting is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
