We are seeking a talented Motion Graphic Artist to join our team and contribute to the success of our Motion Media department. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in creating captivating 3D and 2D motion graphics, graphic design, and character design.

THE ROLE

As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating impactful designs that capture the messaging required across marketing ideas. You will work under the guidance of the senior art director to

ideate and execute design assets required by multiple teams i.e social media, performance marketing or marketplaces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Create drafts of social media posts, web banners, etc. and get them approved by the senior art director.

▪ Liaise with internal stakeholders while working on design projects from concept right up to execution.

▪ Ensure that all the graphic elements are consistent in terms of style, colours, and message

▪ Find the right mix of imagery to visually represent the content.

▪ Be a part of the ideation process and pitch creative concepts.

▪ Make edits as and when required based on the feedback provided by senior members of the team.

▪ Adhere to strict timelines and be able to deliver quality work as required for the campaign/project.

SKILLS

▪ Understanding the visual elements such as type, layout, fonts, etc.

▪ Basic knowledge of online marketing would be preferred.

▪ Ability to work well within a team.

▪ Time management skills.

▪ Ability to take constructive feedback and work on enhancing design skills.

QUALIFICATION

▪ Minimum 1-year experience at an Advertising agency or any design house.

▪ Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other design tools.

▪ Experience with working on iOS / Apple operating system is preferred.

An aesthetically pleasing design creates a positive response in people’s brains and leads them to believe the design works better. Users often perceive aesthetically pleasing design as design that’s more usable. We need Visual Designers who know how to make their design interfaces usable, how to draw the user’s eye to the correct information and functionality., and how to prioritise content on a page through size, colour, and the use of negative space. We need visual designers who have mastered the basics of UI, graphic design, branding, and visual communication. This is because they have to translate a brand’s style and voice into a beautiful yet usable design. We take our design process seriously. So research via surveys, customer feedback, heat mapping, and analytics forms a core part of our process. Our designs go through an internal design checklist so that we achieve user goals while keeping in mind technical limitations. Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in human-computer interaction or Design or Fine Art or Architecture or Engineering or IT technical discipline or in place of 2+ years of internship or 1+ years of industry design experience
• Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
• Superlative visual design skills, excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
• Understanding of technical constraints, user goals and business requirements that shape a product
• Ability to work confidently with Program Management, Development, Product Planning, Brand, Marketing and Usability
• Proficiency with Figma or Sketch with an understanding of rapid prototyping platforms such as Invision or Principle
• Experience working within and contributing to a structured design system

• Additional proficiency and experience in any of the following skills: information visualization, illustration, motion graphics and animation, video, are not a requirement, but a plus
