Note : Face-to-face interview in Bangalore is mandatory during the second round.

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role focused on building cloud-based, scalable applications in the mortgage finance domain.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain backend components for cloud-based web applications.
• Contribute to architectural decisions involving microservices and distributed systems.
• Work extensively with Node.js and RESTful APIs.
• Implement scalable solutions using AWS services (e.g., Lambda, SQS, SNS, RDS).
• Utilize both relational and NoSQL databases effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and maintainable code.
• Participate in agile development practices and deliver rapid iterations based on feedback.
• Take ownership of system performance, scalability, and reliability.

Core Requirements :

• 5+ Years of total experience in backend development.
• Minimum 3 Years of experience in building scalable microservices or delivering large-scale products.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and REST APIs.
• Solid experience with RDBMS, SQL, and data modeling.
• Good understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and availability.
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and services.
• Development experience in Python and/or Java is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with frontend frameworks like React.js or AngularJS.
• Working knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.

Interview Process :

1. Round 1 : Online technical assessment (1 hour)
2. Round 2 : Virtual technical interview
3. Round 3 : In-person interview at the Bangalore office (2 hours – mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payment collection.
• Follow up with clients/customers via phone, email, and letters regarding outstanding dues.
• Maintain accurate records of collections and payment status.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
• Prepare recovery status reports and highlight overdue accounts to management.
• Recommend action plans for delinquent accounts and assist in initiating legal recovery, if required.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.

DevOps & Automation:

• Experience in CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, YAML, Git, and GitHub. Capable of automating build, test, and deployment processes to streamline application delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep (preferred), Terraform, Ansible, and ARM Templates.

Cloud Services & Architecture:

• Experience in Azure Cloud services, including Web Apps, AKS, Application Gateway, APIM, and Logic Apps.
• Good understanding of cloud design patterns, security best practices, and cost optimization strategies.

Scripting & Automation:

• Experience in developing and maintaining automation scripts using PowerShell to manage, monitor, and support applications.
• Familiar with Azure CLI, REST APIs, and automating workflows using Azure DevOps Pipelines.

Data Integration & ADF:

• Working knowledge or basic hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), focusing on developing and managing data pipelines and workflows.
• Knowledge of data integration practices, including ETL/ELT processes and data transformations.

Application Management & Monitoring:

• Ability to provide comprehensive support for both new and legacy applications.
• Proficient in managing and monitoring application performance using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Understanding of application security principles and best practices.

Database Skills:

• Basic experience of SQL and Azure SQL, including database backups, restores, and application data management.

·        Prepare and manage project plans (project, release, sprint) with clear achievable milestones

·        Identify risks and dependencies for the projects he manages.

·        Ensure the project is implemented on time within contractual obligations.

·        Responsible for scope management and change management.

·        Follow-up with customers to resolve any dependencies and help manage issues/bottlenecks in implementation.

·        Conduct regular project review meetings.

·        Be an escalation point for implementation team to coordinate with various partners to eliminate any bottlenecks or mitigate any risks.

·        Communicate status to senior management and customers regularly.

·        Should have the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel for various customers.

·        Able to identify impact on project plan due to new changes coming up during the project execution.

·        Interface with customers and understand functional requirements and objectives

·        Working closely with customer’s / business analysts / technical architects for ensuring that right design and architecture is agreed up on for the projects.

·        Escalate issues to senior management or customer if required appropriately

·        Able to influence and implement the best practices of Agile across project teams

·        Ensure compliance with development standards, development process and the documentation requirements.

·        Continuous learning to keep abreast with developments in technology.

·        Provide guidance on functional and technical matters to all the members in the team, if required take support from external team members.

·        Participate in presentations and demonstrations of the software to customers.

·        Identify training needs for the project team to improve productivity and quality of delivery

·        Build a strong team to manage and execute the projects

·        Work with team continuously to resolve conflicts or roadblocks they have to accomplish their tasks

·        Have a periodic 1 x 1 discussion with the team members provide support where required and nominate team/peer for their achievements

Role:

As an Android Developer who would work independently, the candidate is expected to actively acquire problems and deliver solutions. He/she would be required to produce software of the highest quality through self-discipline, clear and engaged communication, and attention to detail. The role would include custom web application development on (most typically on React.js, Angular), version control (github), testing (necessarily through test scripts written before code is written), daily builds and eventual deployment.
