Senior Technical Lead

Opportunity Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer with experience building Salesforce AppExchange apps to lead the development of Salesforce connectors for our marketing technology products.

What would you do?

·      Collaborate with stakeholders in establishing application requirements, determining features, creating customer-friendly solutions, and determining support needs and performance requirements. 

·      Plan, design, develop, test, and deploy software to satisfy these requirements. 

·      Work according to the agile programming application development methodology adhered to including test-first, iterative development, and continuous re-prioritization.  

·      Support the maintenance of our hosted technology solutions. 

·      Work with other team members in accomplishing group objectives and participating in code reviews. 

·      Ensure timely and robust implementation of the company’s development plans.

·      Ensure that all relevant parties are kept up to date on progress of projects and give feedback on an ongoing basis. 

·      Contribute to the review, selection, and adoption of proprietary tools and technologies. 

·      Use specialist knowledge and experience of information technology to provide technical advice and vision.

Technical Skills

The following skills are needed for this role.

Experience

·      5+ years’ experience in web application design and development 

·      Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience 

Primary Skills

·      Strong background in Front-end technologies – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, etc. 

·      Experience with node.js

·      An understanding of User Experience and a background in building intuitive interfaces. 

Secondary Skills (nice to have)

·      Experience with Shopify integrations.

·      Experience building native apps for other platforms.

·      Experience with Salesforce APEX, VisualForce, SOQL, etc.

·      AWS ecosystem and tools, particularly developing for serverless environments. 

·      Any experience with other languages will be beneficial.

• Design, coding, enhancements, and bug fixing in DNS and related areas.

• Bring up new ideas to improve the day-to-day challenges in the design/functionality.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

Essential 

• Deep understanding of data structures & algorithm. 

• Expert in C, C++ with hands-on experience

• Fair understanding of scripting languages Python and JavaScript

• Expertise in Linux user-level programming and exposure to Linux networking stack.

• Good understanding on TCP/IP concepts.

• Proven experience with security standards.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Good understanding of Network security and DNS modules

• Excellent Understanding of networking technologies and OS internals.

• Prior experience in leading and delivering project/programs involving multiple teams.

• Prior experience of leading and mentoring senior engineers to deliver critical projects.

Nice-to-have 

• Prior experience developing DNS and related modules is a Plus.

• Good understanding of network protocols like TCP, UDP, HTTP, SSL, DNS, FTP etc. 

• Experience with CI/CD (git, pipeline etc.). 

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 15+ years of related experience with a Bachelor of Engineering in ECE/Computers or similar years’ experience with ME/MTech in ECE/Computers.

• Excellent organizational agility and interpersonal skills throughout the organization.

• Ability to work flexible hours for better collaboration with international teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change management,
• Working knowledge of Agile, Product and Project methodologies

• You will develop front-end for our products and collaborate with designers, other engineers, and product managers to build new features, iterate on current features, and build a world-class user experience.  
• Build responsive & re-usable UI components using ReactJS, as per the specifications and guidelines 
• Maintain & manage the state of the application using Redux and be in sync with the server. Rapidly iterate prototypes based on design updates and new requirements.  
• You will build applications that are reliable, secure and optimized for performance across all environments 
• Write high-quality code 
• Build large scalable applications for cloud deployment 
• Build pixel-perfect UIs across both mobile platforms 
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms 
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native 
• Maintain code and write unit tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality 

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor’s in computer science or relevant fields
• 2+ years of relevant work experience 
• Strong sense of ownership

• Understanding of basic Rest Principles
• Familiar with project management tools like JIRA etc.
• Will be involved in developing any enterprise systems like eCommerce, manufacturing, supply chain, etc.,

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduation is a must
• Relevant work experience of 5 – 10 years in managing sales in Ecommerce Marketplaces
• Prior experience in D2C brands - beauty and wellness category is desirable
• Excellent communication skills
• High organization with strong project management and strong time management skills    

• Be bold in building industry-first consumer-facing products that actualize the company’s vision
• Keenly understand user needs and demonstrate first-principles thinking in building solutions for the same
• Be responsible for developing and delivering the product roadmap

• 3-4 years of experience in building products at B2C start-ups
• Case studies involving deep customer insight
• Taken decisions based on strong analytics and/or intuition from time to time
• Growth mindset - moving quickly, shipping products, scaling
• Ability to act as a bridge between business and engineering teams

• We have been generating transactions in the market using WhatsApp before productizing the same
