Job Title: Java Developer

Experience range:- 3-6 Years

Location:- Chennai

Face 2 Face Drive : Friday & Saturday (11th & 12th July 2025)

·    Strong written/verbal communication skills

·      Minimum 3+Years of Core Java Programming with Collections Framework, Concurrent Programming, Multi-threading (Good knowledge in Executor service, Fork joins pool and other threading concepts)

·    Good knowledge of the JVM with an understanding of performance and memory optimization.

•  Good experience in Spring boot.
•  Extensive and expert programming experience in JAVA programming language (strong OO skills preferred).

•  Excellent knowledge on collections like, Array List, Vector, LinkedList, HashMap, Hash Table, HashSet is mandate.

•  Exercised exemplary development practices including design specification, coding standards, unit testing, and code-reviews.

•  Expert level understanding of Object-Oriented Concepts and Data Structures

•  Good experience in Database (Sybase, Oracle or SQL Server) like indexing (clustered, non-clustered), hashing, segmenting, data types like clob / blob, views (materialized), replication, constraints, functions, triggers, procedures etc.

• Understand product specifications and user psychologyConduct concept and usability testing and gather feedbackCreate personas through user research and dataDefine the right interaction model and evaluate its successDevelop wireframes and prototypes around customer needsFind creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)Work with UI designers to implement attractive designsCommunicate design ideas and prototypes to developersKeep abreast of competitor products and industry trends

• Smooth onboarding of fellows post recruitment
• Understanding the pre-existing technical and other skills as well as improvement needs in each area throughout training and deployment
• Weekly monitoring of progress as well as key strength and improvement area of each fellow
• Planning remediation in consultation with training head and trainers, weekly/ daily check ins and query resolution to sustain high level of motivation
• Monitoring and taking steps towards maintaining high performance standards post deployment
• Implementing upskilling learning and development initiatives based on individual fellow requirement and ensuring consistent appraisal and manager satisfaction
• Continuously monitoring and improving the Fellows’ performance during training and on-site, as well as analyzing client feedback, upskilling needs, retention and billability

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in managing technical talent in either talent management or technical manager roles
• Training experience desirable
• Awareness of job role skill and capability requirement for data engineer or similar technical job role
• Experience in performance management and employment relations

• High data-driven and process oriented mindset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Design intuitive, human-centric flows, and experiences on the web, iOS, and Android
• Own a wide variety of projects that vary from big picture concepts to granular feature details
• Identify and produce design artifacts that make the team more effective (journey map, user flow, wireframes, etc.)
• Analyze the success of your solutions and iterate
• Create our design system from scratch yourself and help onboard future designers as we scale
• Present work and use design to build alignment and influence product direction
• Research and understand users, plan and conduct usability tests, and leverage data to make confident design decisions
• Influence our product roadmap by advocating for the user and educating the team on key design concerns
• Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the engineering team and leadership

Skills & Requirements

• 1-8 years of experience delivering extraordinary design as a UX designer, information architect, interaction designer, or similar. Experience designing in the fintech industry is a big bonus.
• Portfolio with a history of impactful projects that showcase your design process
• Strong UX, interaction, and visual design skills
• A human-centric approach to designing products
• A bias for action and a tenacious focus on how your work impacts users and the business
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
• Fluency in commonly used design software (FIGMA!) and related tools

Good to have

• Experience leading / mentoring other designers
• Experience with helping set product strategy through methods like design sprints, quarterly or yearly planning, and team brainstorms
• Experience setting a vision for a product experience.
• Prototyping skills (using Invision, HTML, CSS, Framer, Principle, etc.)
• Ability to write and edit HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Conceptual understanding of popular front-end frameworks like Angular and React

• Delivering a complete front- end application
• Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop
• Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Coordinating the workflow between the graphic designer, the HTML coder, backend developer, and yourself
• Cooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API
• Communicating with external web services
• Expertise of Angular and good command over TypeScript
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors such as Stylus, Less, etc depending on your technology stack
• Good understanding of UI/UX technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance depending on the specific project
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Thorough knowledge of web markup and experience with UI component library like Angular Material
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Experience in working with service workers in angular and caching
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
