Senior QA Engineer

Our client is looking for a dynamic & passionate Engineering Director who can lead

the tech-stack and drive teams with great leadership qualities.

Responsibilities:

Completely responsible for product delivery, development process, and engineering

team performance. Provide overall direction to the engineering team.

Create a top-performing engineering team culture with high levels of team engagement

and satisfaction.

Work with the leadership team and product leaders to define engineering roadmaps and

solve business problems.

Drive engineering efforts to deliver releases with high quality and on time.

Communicate cross-functionally, hold your command in technical discussion, and have

strategic influence.

Work with the Talent Acquisition team to hire top talent, manage their performance,

and successfully mentor them to grow professionally.

Minimum Qualifications:

Hands-on technical expertise and management experience.

8+ years of people management experience.

Demonstrated experience to recruit and manage technical teams, including team

performance management.

Must have relevant experience in designing, building, maintaining, and extending large

scale production systems.

Have deep expertise in React.js, Node JS and MongoDB.

Strong software engineering skills and best practices including experience with a

modern agile development and deployment workflow.

Proven leadership skills; courage to challenge with candor, motivate and inspire teams.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, for both technical and non-technical

audiences.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• experience in algorithm development with a focus on signal processing, pattern recognition, machine learning, classification, data mining, and other areas of machine intelligence.
• Ability to analyse data streams from multiple sensors and develop algorithms to extract accurate and meaningful sport metrics.
• Should have a deeper understanding of IMU sensors and Biosensors like HRM, ECG
• A good understanding on Power and memory management on embedded platform

•  Expertise in the design of multitasking, event-driven, real-time firmware using C and understanding of RTOS concepts
• Knowledge of Machine learning, Analytical and methodical approaches to data analysis and verification and Python
• Prior experience on fitness algorithm development using IMU sensor
•  Interest in fitness activities and knowledge of human body anatomy

Qualification

1. Is Education overrated? Yes. We believe so. But there is no way to locate you otherwise. So we might look for at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science). 
2. Or else, you should be programming from 12. For us, the latter is better as it shows you have a programming mindset. We will find you faster if you specify the latter in some manner. :) 
3.  3-6 years of relevant work experience. 
4. Proficient understanding of MongoDB, Express.js, React Js, Node.js 
5. React Hooks and Lifecycle methods: In-depth understanding is necessary
6. Redux: Should be able to create, update and manage
7. Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS. 
8. Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript,TypeScript, JavaScript frameworks , including jQuery, MySQL & NoSQL. 
9. Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
10. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Bitbucket / SVN.
11. Experience working and building RESTful APIs.
