We are currently scouting for Business Development Representative (Founding member)

Our Client Story:

They are building new-age billing and pricing infrastructure for SaaS companies. As SaaS pricing evolves from vanilla subscription based models to more granular usage based models, billing and pricing infrastructure needs to be completely reimagined.

It is founded by two folks who sold their previous start-ups to Snapdeal and Gaana respectively. They have experience at organizations such as Google, Basepair, Elevation Capital, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi and Harvard Business School. We are funded by marquee global investors, including Bessemer Venture Partners.

What you will do:

We are building our founding team, and are looking for:

• engineers who can optimize for quick iteration, fast deployment and having a great developer experience.
• sales, marketing and growth folks who are excited to push the envelope on GTM (go to market) innovation

You should be excited about learning and meaningfully shaping the trajectory of an early stage startup from Day 0 in its journey.

Qualification:

In order to succeed, SaaS companies need to innovate not only on product, but also GTM (go to market). An innovative, multi-pronged GTM approach is critical to stand out and attract customers.

The good part is that we are building a “pain-killer”, as opposed to a “vitamin”, which makes it much easier to sell and market 🙂 The pain is severe, the product is best in class, and the market is huge - it doesn’t get better than this.

We are selling to the mid-market and enterprise, with a fairly high touch sales process. We are setting up best-in-class sales machinery to scalably and predictably drive revenue.

As a Network Engineer at Propel, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and support network solutions that align with business objectives and industry best practices.

Responsibilities 

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, Site to Site and Client to Site VPN to support business operations and growth.

• Develop and implement network security strategies, including firewall policies, intrusion detection and Prevention (IDS/IPS), access control and CCTV systems, to safeguard company data and resources.

• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, High availability, L3/L2/PoE Switches and load balancers, QoS.

• Configure VLan and segregate access between different teams

• Perform hardware troubleshoot such as port failure, system crash, hardware failure etc.,

• Design and implement patch panels and cabling

• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Identify areas for improvement, implementing network optimization and redundancy solutions as needed.

• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations

• Collaborate with other IT teams to evaluate and recommend networking solutions for application and infrastructure projects.

• Implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team

• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, firmware and security configurations

• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning

• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.

• Monitor network performance on the availability, utilization, throughput, jitter and latency and test for weaknesses.

• Perform Vulnerability assessment Pen testing at network level and mitigate issues

• Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configurations.

• Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities and OWASP vulnerabilities

• Provide support for critical network incidents on shift basis to support 24x7 model on need basis.

• Exploring automations to integrate for managing networks and provide timely network alerts

• Use ticketing system to document requests, track changes, and explain resolutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 4+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role, with a focus on implementing and managing complex network environments.

• Deep understanding of networking protocols, such as DNS, DHCP, CIDR, IPSEC TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.

• Proficiency with network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers from vendors like Fortinet, Cisco etc.,

• Strong knowledge of network security best practices and technologies, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.

• Experience with network monitoring and management tools

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Nice-to-Have:  

• Relevant networking certifications, such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or JNCIE.

• Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network automation technologies, such as Ansible, Python, or REST APIs.

Others:

• Common application/ web security and OWASP vulnerabilities

• Encryption algorithms to protect sensitive information

• PII, PCI, HIPPA, and GDPR compliance and how to implement

• Finding the vulnerabilities of the third-party components/ libraries

Job Description

We're a fast growing fintech startup based in Pune. In June 2019, we launched, an app to check and monitor credit scores. It is the only app in India that helps consumers improve their credit score via an AI-based score planner.

WE are on a mission to re-imagine credit and payments from first principles and is building a mobile-first credit card in India.

• Roles & Responsibilities:-

Strong proficiency in JavaScript.

Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.

Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

Familiarity with newer specifications of Ecma Script.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs.

Mandatory Skills for screening:-Good in configuration/ blueprinting/ understanding the process flow in SAP IS OIL & GAS downstream scenario mapping.

Detailed Job Description: The candidate should have 6 to 8 yrs of SAP IS Oil experience and worked on at least two implementation projects. Should be very conversant with Oil downstream processes. Capable of taking part in blueprinting workshops with clients and ready to work hands-on in Configuration, Integration testing, UAT etc. Should also know the SAP Logistics area.

• Cross-platform mobile applications for Android & iOS
• Web service integration (SOAP, REST/JSON, GraphQL)
• Identification of application issues when deploying the apps
• Timely App deployment to Play Store & ios app store

Skills & Requirement:

• Minimum 2 years Experience required.
• Previous mobile app development experience using Flutter framework and DART programming is essential
• Experience with Material Design and Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices
• Experience with third party libraries and API integration experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Design patterns and good UI design ability
• Dynamic form building experience is essential
• Diagnose performance issues, fix bugs (including crashes) to increase the functionality of the application
• Performance optimization is required.
