Job Title: Sales & Marketing – Power Transformers Division

Location: Indore / Ludhiana

Experience Range: 5 to 14 Years

Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing professional for our Transformers Division, specializing in Power Transformers and related products. The role involves driving business growth, managing client relationships, and handling the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order execution and collections.

Product Range:

• Power Transformers up to 200 MVA and 400 kV
• Generator Transformers
• Unit Auxiliary Transformers
• Special Application Transformers

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Business Development
• Achieve assigned sales and collection targets as per business plan.
• Generate leads, attend cold calls, and develop new business opportunities.
• Conduct sales presentations and distribute product catalogues to decision makers in SEBs, EPCs, Consultants, and Industrial groups.
• Participate in negotiations on specifications, payment terms, and timelines.
• Customer Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Utilities, Electrical Consultants, EPC contractors, and Industrial customers.
• Liaise with customers regularly to ensure timely communication of order changes and requirements.
• Provide timely resolution of client queries during pre-sales, execution, and post-sales stages.
• Execution & Coordination
• Document customer specifications and forward to relevant departments.
• Work closely with the Project Management Cell to ensure order execution within timelines.
• Support planning and execution teams for timely dispatch of finished goods.
• Collections & Controls
• Ensure timely collections as per established processes through proactive follow-ups.
• Market Intelligence & Strategy
• Stay updated on regional market developments and competitor activities.
• Provide insights on market trends, customer feedback, and potential opportunities for new markets or product diversification.
• Undertake pre-qualification work with high-volume customers and ensure successful approvals.

Desired Experience & Skills:

• 5–14 years of frontline Sales & Marketing experience, preferably in tendering-oriented businesses.
• Prior exposure to Power Transformers sales or similar capital equipment is highly desirable.
• Strong network with State Electricity Boards, Utilities, Consultants, EPC contractors, and Industrial customers.
• Technical orientation for selling capital goods products.
• Willingness to travel extensively for business development and customer interactions.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

1. Minimum product development experience of 1+ years with expertise in designing and implementing high-performance mobile applications
2. Well-versed in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, XML, and JSON.
3. Thorough knowledge of Android APIs and platform capabilities
4. Working knowledge of the mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
5. Have published one or more apps in the Play Store
6. Complete knowledge of app testing & releasing
7. Familiarity with popular android libraries/methods like OkHTTP, Retrofit

Roles and Responsibilities

• Talented software developers to deliver high-quality web-based business applications
• Get a solid understanding of both the functional and technical specifications of the module \ task of the current assignment and have full consent before starting the development.
• Follow proper coding standards, application architecture guidelines and procedural guidelines as explained by the respective team lead.
• Maintain the time sheet on a daily basis clearly filling the actual effort against the estimated effort. And any unplanned activities, scope creeps, unaccomplished tasks or additional guidance requirements should be immediate brought to the notice of Team Lead/Project manager/ VP.
• Will be responsible for doing a thorough unit testing before and after their respective code components is being integrated into peer codes or main application.
• Post integration release they would be responsible for resolving the TFS issues being assigned to them.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn new technologies.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 Years of experience in .Net technologies
• Build new Web-based systems with C# .NET, ASP.NET
• Experience in Angular 2+, JQuery, Entity Framework are preferred
• Good experience in OOPS concepts, MVC Frame work, Web API, WCF / Remoting
• Strong experience in designing and working with scalable architectures
• The ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary
• Having Experience in build, publish and deploying applications using various tools
• Should have experience of all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle or Agile
• Excellent problem solver, able to assimilate formation quickly
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written
