About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in building scalable web applications using modern technologies. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using Node.js, React, and Python.
• Build and maintain APIs and microservices that support high-volume traffic and data.
• Develop front-end components and user interfaces using React.js.
• Leverage AWS services for deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
• Continuously explore and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in fullstack development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, React.js, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudFormation, RDS).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with serverless architecture.
• Knowledge of TypeScript.
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

We are expanding our tech team and looking for a prolific Staff Engineer to lead our tech team as a leader (without necessarily being a people manager). Our tech is hosted on Google cloud and the stack includes React, Node.js, AirFlow, Python, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, TensorFlow.

1. You have 6+ years of quality experience in building scalable digital products/platforms with experience in full stack development, big data analytics and Devops.
2. You are great at identifying risks and opportunities, and have the depth that comes with willingness and capability to be hands-on. Do you still code? Do you love to code? Do you love to roll up your sleeves and debug things?
3. Do you enjoy going deep into that part of the 'full stack' that you are not an expert of?

Responsibilities:

• You will help build a platform that supports large scale data, with multi-tenancy and near real-time analytics.
• You will lead and mentor a team of data engineers and full stack engineers to build the next generation data-driven marketing platform and solutions.
• You will lead exploring and building new tech and solutions that solve business problems of today and tomorrow.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
• Excellent computer systems fundamentals, DS/Algorithms and problem solving skills.
• Experience in conceiving, designing, architecting, developing and operating full stack, data-driven platforms using Big data and cloud tech in GCP/AWS environments.

Your Tasks:

• Participate in all aspect of operation and application support.
• Work primarily in Java-on-Java Spring and web frameworks like Bootstrap and Vue.js.
• Engage and collaborate across time zones with different front-end and back-end developers.
• Working closely with your teammates on knowledge sharing and experience build-up.
• Drive development best practices with your teammates to deliver high quality solutions. 

  Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering with strong communication skills.
• 4+ years of experience building large-scale software applications or web applications
• Strong knowledge of Full-Stack development with Java Spring Framework and established web frameworks Bootstrap, Vue.js, React or AngularJS.
• Experience of different data stores and search engine solutions like Apache Solr or Elasticsearch and designing and implementing API web services (RESTful and SOAP-based)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment whiles providing operational support capability.
