ROLE OVERVIEW The Head of Technical Delivery – India will be the senior-most technical delivery authority at Tech Transient, responsible for the overall delivery strategy, architecture, engineering execution, and technical team leadership across Tech Transient’s projects and internal platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends strategic delivery direction with active involvement in architecture decisions, code quality, and delivery oversight. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and getting into the details when needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Own the overall technology strategy, architecture, and engineering roadmap for Tech Transient, aligned with business and client goals. – Lead, mentor, and grow the engineering team, including hiring, performance management, and technical career development. – Drive technical decision-making across AI/ML, web, mobile, and backend engineering projects, ensuring scalable and maintainable architecture. – Oversee end-to-end project delivery quality across client engagements, balancing timelines, technical debt, and longterm platform health. – Establish and enforce engineering best practices — code review standards, CI/CD, testing, documentation, and security protocols. – Evaluate, select, and implement technology stacks, tools, and third-party platforms suited to client and internal needs. – Act as the primary technical point of contact for key clients, translating business requirements into robust technical solutions. – Manage technology infrastructure, cloud environments, and data security/compliance practices (including DPDP Act and related regulations). – Collaborate closely with leadership on budgeting, resourcing, and technology investment decisions. – Stay current with emerging AI/ML and digital transformation trends, and drive their responsible adoption within Tech Transient’s offerings. – Set up and continuously improve internal engineering processes, tooling, and knowledge-sharing practices as the team scales. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE – Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. – 10+ years of overall software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership, architecture, or engineering management role. – Proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering complex, production-grade software systems. – Strong hands-on experience across modern web/mobile technology stacks, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and DevOps practices. – Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their practical application in enterprise or consulting settings is highly preferred. – Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or client engagements in a consulting or product environment. – Strong understanding of system design, scalability, security, and data privacy best practices. – Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and business stakeholders/clients. PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES – Prior experience in an IT consulting, digital transformation, or AI services company. – Experience building or scaling an engineering function from an early stage. – Familiarity with Indian regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to technology and data (DPDP Act 2023, IT Act 2000). – A pragmatic, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Job Description:

Core Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and engineering managers to understand features and their implementation details and challenges.  
• Understand customer usage models and then develop and execute automation strategy and plans. 
• To develop great quality scripts by automating functional and non-functional test cases, design CI/CD pipelines, and develop automation frameworks. 
• Capable of understanding software internals, debug problems, and write automated tests using Java and/or user-level test automation tools.

Job Brief:

• Past experience in cloud computing and technology systems, as well as experience in designing and transferring applications to the cloud.

• Proven experience in Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) as well as DevOps principles to achieve SDLC goals of Global Banking Technology

• Hands on experience using the Azure/AWS administration portal.

• Knowledge of at least one other cloud hosting solution (e.g., Azure, Google, AWS, Helion Cloud).

• Good hands-on experience in SOA, XML, WSDL, XSD, WSDL XML schema and namespaces (J2EE and .NET), MS .NET Framework, C#, HTML, Javascript, Micro Services/ APIs, Messaging, Threading, IBM DB.

• Have experience on development of container applications.

Data Engineer:

• Should have total 3-6 Yrs of experience in Data Engineering.
• Person should have experience in coding data pipeline on GCP. 
• Prior experience on Hadoop systems is ideal as candidate may not have total GCP experience. 
• Strong on programming languages like Scala, Python, Java. 
• Good understanding of various data storage formats and it’s advantages. 
• Should have exposure on GCP tools to develop end to end data pipeline for various scenarios (including ingesting data from traditional data bases as well as integration of API based data sources). 
• Should have Business mindset to understand data and how it will be used for BI and Analytics purposes.

• Develop comprehensive product documentation that meets global standards.         
• Work with Engineering team to create Product Technical documentation, Knowledgebase, API Documentation.     
• Work with Product Management team to create Product User Guides, FAQs, Support Knowledgebase etc.         
• Work with Technical & Marketing teams to create content for Technical Blogs, White Papers, Product Comparisons, Case Studies etc.      
• Periodically review existing documentation and update them for Product Releases, prepare Release Notes. 
• Obtain a deep understanding of products to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content.     

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field.
• 2-8 years’ experience as an effective technical writer for products in the Cloud Computing Industry.
• Proven ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and create easily understandable text and pictures.
• Understanding of Cloud Concepts and experience in creating related documentation is a must.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience working with engineering to improve user experience and create visuals for technical support content.
• Experience working with video (screen capture) creation tools for user documentation.
• Understanding of REST APIs and ability to do simple checks using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience using Wordpress and other similar tools to create documentation.
