Job Description: ServiceNow Business Continuity Management (BCM) Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated ServiceNow Business Continuity Management (BCM) Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of our ServiceNow BCM module. You will leverage your deep understanding of business continuity principles and ServiceNow platform capabilities to ensure our organization's resilience against potential disruptions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, configure the platform, and provide expert guidance on BCM best practices.
Responsibilities:
- ServiceNow BCM Module Implementation and Configuration:
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow BCM solutions that meet business requirements.
- Configure and customize the BCM module, including workflows, forms, reports, and dashboards.
- Integrate the BCM module with other ServiceNow modules and external systems.
- Perform thorough testing and validation of BCM configurations.
- Perform Data migration related activities.
- Business Continuity Planning and Management:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business continuity requirements and objectives.
- Develop and maintain business impact analyses (BIAs), risk assessments, and recovery plans within ServiceNow.
- Facilitate BCM workshops and training sessions.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of BCM documentation.
- Ensure the BCM module aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- ServiceNow Platform Expertise:
- Maintain a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities.
- Provide expert guidance on ServiceNow BCM best practices and solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow BCM related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow releases and new features.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to ServiceNow BCM configurations and processes.
- Project Management and Collaboration:
- Manage BCM related projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and external vendors.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Lead and mentor junior team members.
- Participate in requirement gathering, and translate those requirements into technical solutions within the servicenow platform.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain BCM reports and dashboards to track key metrics.
- Analyze BCM data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on BCM activities and performance.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the ServiceNow BCM module.
Skills/Modules Required :
- ServiceNow BCM Module :
- Expert-level knowledge of the ServiceNow BCM module, including its architecture, functionality, and configuration.
- Proven experience implementing and customizing the ServiceNow BCM module.
- Strong understanding of BIA, risk assessment, and recovery planning within ServiceNow.
- ServiceNow Platform:
- Extensive experience with the ServiceNow platform, including scripting (JavaScript), workflows, forms, reports, and integrations.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow administration and development.
- Experience with ServiceNow upgrades and patches.
- Business Continuity Management (BCM):
- Deep understanding of BCM principles, standards (e.g., ISO 22301), and best practices.
- Experience conducting BIAs, risk assessments, and developing recovery plans.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery, crisis management, and incident response.
- Project Management:
- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in ServiceNow BCM implementation and administration.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist - Business Continuity Management (CIS-BCM) certifications are highly preferred.
- Relevant BCM certifications (e.g., CBCP, MBCP) are a plus.
- Proven track record of successful ServiceNow BCM implementations.
- Experience with other servicenow modules such as GRC, IT Service Management, and ITOM is a plus.
