Fullstack Developer

We're hiring a developer to take on two things: language expansion of Shalem, our live React Native (Expo) subscription app on iOS and Android, and integration work on PalAsk, our AI-twin platform for creators (its frontend and backend are built — we need the integrations wired up). This is a mobile-first role with real full-stack responsibilities, taking over existing production code — not a greenfield build.

What you'll do

• Shalem: add multiple new languages (including Hebrew, which is right-to-left), making sure every screen's layout, alignment and text adapt correctly.
• Shalem: fix related UI/responsiveness issues and ship updates to the App Store and Play Store.
• PalAsk: complete the integrations on top of the existing frontend/backend — e.g. Stripe Connect payouts, the AI/LLM content-processing flow, and related REST APIs.
• Light full-stack support across both (Supabase, Node.js, simple server-side logic, internal tools) as needed.

Must have

• 3+ years building production mobile apps with React Native + Expo.
• A Mac (required to build and ship iOS), plus an iPhone and an Android device or emulator for testing.
• Hands-on App Store Connect / TestFlight and Google Play release experience.
• Strong JavaScript / TypeScript; comfortable with REST APIs and Supabase or Firebase.
• Full-stack integration experience: Node.js, third-party APIs, and payment integration (Stripe; Stripe Connect a strong plus).
• App localization / i18n experience (externalising strings, handling languages where text is longer). RTL/Hebrew experience is a plus, but solid i18n fundamentals matter more — RTL is learnable with React Native's built-in support.
• Tests own work on real devices before shipping; reliable, detail-oriented; communicates clearly in English and flags blockers early.

Nice to have

• Stripe Connect (marketplace payouts), AI/LLM API integration, transcription/vision pipelines.
• Push notifications (FCM/APNs), RevenueCat or in-app subscriptions, CI/CD for mobile.

• Clear written requirements and acceptance criteria before you start.
• “Done” means tested on a real device with proof (a short recording or screenshots) — not just “works on my machine.”
• Only build what's agreed; propose before adding or changing scope. Never delete production/client data without sign-off.
• Short daily update with what's done (and proof), what's next, and any blockers.

Logistics

Fully remote, open to developers in India. We start with a paid trial project (see below) and continue based on quality and reliability, with room to grow as the products evolve.

Note on level/pay: this role needs genuine iOS release + payment-integration depth. If applicants at the current range skew junior, expect to raise it for the right person.

As a Backend Developer, you will:

Prior Experience Required:

• Experience in integrating and deploying machine learning models for real-world applications, specifically for fraud detection is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming and its workarounds.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless architectures.
