About the Role
OLX India is looking for a proactive and technically strong Security Engineer to help strengthen the organization’s security posture across cloud infrastructure, applications, networks, and internal systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in security engineering, vulnerability management, and penetration testing in modern cloud-native environments.
You will work closely with Engineering, DevOps, Product, and Compliance teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable security controls while enabling fast and secure product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise security solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing for Web, Mobile and APIs and help remediate the issues.
- Implement and improve security controls for AWS/GCP infrastructure, Kubernetes, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security best practices into the SDLC and DevSecOps processes.
- Perform security reviews for new features, infrastructure changes, and third-party integrations.
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts, tooling, and dashboards.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–6 years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or DevSecOps roles.
- Strong understanding of cloud security concepts.
- Proven expertise in web and mobile security architecture, frameworks, and testing methodologies (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure Cloud Environment.
- Knowledge of Container and Kubernetes security practices.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management tools
- Experience with scripting/automation using Python, Bash, or Go.
