Roles & Responsibility:
The QA Engineer will be responsible test plan development, execution, and results tracking as a member of a diverse, globally distributed team. The candidate will conduct in-depth application and workflow testing, as well as provide QA leadership and feedback to a diverse globally distributed team of Project Managers, Business Analysts, Software Developers, and other QA personnel.
· Collaborating with cross-functional agile team members to understand project requirements/user stories and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
· Designing, developing, and maintaining manual and automated test scripts, with focus on creating effective and reusable test scripts.
· Working closely with developers and product owners to identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects, and ensure timely resolution.
Requirement-
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven 5+ Years experience in automation testing for web and backend applications.
- Must have experience with API testing tools - Rest Assured.
- Knowledge of automation testing frameworks.
- Experience with JAVA-Selenium
- Understanding of basic SQL queries to validate data in the databases
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Prior experience with trading applications or core financial services related applications is a big plus.
