We're looking for a visionary Director of Product Design to lead the design function at one of India's most ambitious spatial computing companies. This is not a role for someone who manages design from a distance — you will shape the design culture, drive the product experience across our AI-powered 3D platform, and get into the craft alongside your team.
You will own design strategy from first principles, working across the full spectrum of our product: from the initial blank canvas of a 3D scene editor to AI-assisted creation workflows, from enterprise dashboards to consumer-facing AR previews. You care deeply about how things feel, not just how they look — and you know that the best design decisions are rooted in user empathy, rigorous research, and iterative validation.
What you will own:
Design Vision & Strategy
● Define and own the product design vision across all of company’s surfaces — editor, platform, APIs, and consumer touchpoints
● Translate complex product and business goals into coherent, elegant design strategies that scale
● Drive a consistent, high-quality design language and evolve company’s design system as the product grows
● Lead long-term UX strategy for AI-native interaction paradigms — designing for uncertainty, latency, and generative outputs

Team Leadership & People Management

The Role
This is a founding applied-AI role. You'll be building our core data pipeline and intelligence layer with the founding team from 0-1 You'll be tackling our largest technical challenges across technologies.
What You'll Do
- Design and build data pipelines that capture and turn high volumes of system activity into structured, queryable data.
- Turn raw activity streams into processes: sessionize event logs, cluster recurring sequences, and use LLMs to label and summarize what's happening.
- Build the evaluation backbone from scratch: stand up synthetic data generation pipelines that produce labeled scenarios to measure accuracy and catch regressions.
- Own data quality and privacy.
- Partner closely with the founders and the rest of engineering to ship features end to end.
What We're Looking For
- 1-4 years of experience in data engineering, AI/ML engineering, or backend work with a data focus (some of this can be project or research experience).
- Strong in Python and/or TypeScript, comfortable in SQL, and able to build data pipelines you can trust.
- Hands-on experience working with LLMs structured output, prompting, and wrangling non-determinism while keeping behavior reliable.
