What You’ll Do

• Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to consultants as well as client personnel

u5lizing SAP ABAP (Advanced Business Applica5on Programming)

• Lead analysis and design sessions to create requirements to develop client solu5ons

• Design and develop SAP ABAP to meet client business requirements, including

integra5on points with other modules

• Manage and lead the design and development of customized RICEFW (Reports,

Interface, Conversion, Enhancements, Forms and Workflows) objects

• Provide general technical support for our clients and other consul5ng resources

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience with SAP ABAP

• Strong working experience in Fiori, OData, BAPI, and BADI

• Demonstrate a high degree of knowledge in SAP S4/HANA

• Minimum of 3-4 full lifecycle SAP implementa5ons

• Strong experience in developing, tes5ng, debugging, implemen5ng, maintaining, and

documen5ng ABAP code used in RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions,

Forms, and Workflows) objects

• Experience in middleware tools such as SAP CPI (Cloud PlaWorm Integra5on) is a plus

• High level of experience with core SAP modules, including SD, FICO, EWM, MM, PP, TM

• Flexibility and adaptability - Our seniors work on everything from design to hands-on

development and can stretch into new roles

• Willingness to support both project-based work as well as applica5on-managed services

(AMS)

• Ability to support a hybrid-working model at home and in the local office

• Strong analy5cal skills and problem-solving skills and the ability to present and

communicate findings and recommenda5ons

• 7+ years of experience as senior ABAP developer  
• Hands-on SAP development experience in Classic ABAP/ ABAP OO / CDS / AMDP  
• Hands-on SAP development experience in RAP (utilizing both managed and unmanaged implementations, clear understanding of the different benefits of each implementation, available artifacts, and their purpose)  
• Strong experience in developing SAP applications using Fiori Elements 
• Strong experience with REST API and BAPI 
• Strong troubleshooting skills.  
• Fluent English language skills oral and written

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Developer with strong experience in Core ABAP, SAP S/4HANA, ABAP on HANA, RAP, CDS Views, OData and modern SAP development.

The ideal candidate should be capable of developing and enhancing SAP applications, building integrations, supporting S/4HANA environments, and working closely with functional consultants to deliver scalable and high-quality technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, test and deploy SAP applications using Core ABAP and S/4HANA development techniques.

* Develop and enhance applications using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

* Develop RAP Business Objects, Behavior Definitions, Behavior Implementations, Service Definitions and Service Bindings.

* Create, extend and optimize CDS Views / CDS View Entities, including annotations and associations.

* Develop and consume OData and REST APIs for SAP and external system integrations.

* Develop reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows and data conversion programs using ABAP.

* Work with Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) and ABAP on HANA.

* Develop and support integrations using BAPIs, RFCs, Function Modules, IDocs/ALE, REST and SOAP.

* Develop and maintain Adobe Forms / Smart Forms.

* Support SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and OData-based services.

* Develop and monitor integrations using SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite, where applicable.

* Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, defect fixing and production support.

* Perform performance tuning and SQL optimization using HANA-optimized development techniques.

* Follow Clean Core principles and SAP development best practices.

* Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, testing and quality assurance activities.

* Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

* Prepare technical specifications and maintain development documentation.

* Support SAP S/4HANA migration, conversion, upgrade and custom code remediation activities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.

SAP certifications in ABAP, S/4HANA, Fiori, BTP or related technologies will be an added advantage.
