We're Hiring: Sales Manager/ Sr. Manager

Company: SC Lines Shipping and Logistics Pvt. Ltd., CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai

We are looking for a Sales Manager/ Sr. Manager with a strong background in Shipping & Logistics, specifically in NVOCC and Freight Forwarding Operations.

Experience Required:

·        5-10 years of sales experience in liner shipping, vessel chartering, or freight forwarding and logistics.

·        Strong understanding of shipping operations, container trade, and charter party agreements.

·        Willingness to travel domestically as required.

·        Strong coordination and negotiation skills.

Preferred:

·        Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Shipping, or Logistics OR experience in relatable sector.

• Familiarity with project cargo, bulk shipments, or NVOCC operations

Key Responsibilities:

·        Develop new business opportunities in liner shipping, chartering (bulk, break bulk, or project cargo), and international forwarding.

·        Promote the company's shipping services including containerized cargo, vessel space sales, and multi-modal logistics.

·        Maintain and expand a portfolio of shippers, consignees, brokers, and freight forwarders.

·        Handle rate negotiations and prepare customized quotations and contracts based on shipping and chartering needs.

·        Analyze customer requirements, trade lanes, cargo types, and provide suitable logistics solutions.

·        Maintain database with accurate and updated client information, pipeline, and sales activities.

·        Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and freight rates to develop a competitive sales strategy.

Proficiency in Tailwind CSS for development.

Experience in troubleshooting and debugging frontend applications.

Solid understanding and hands-on experience with either Angular or React.

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating seamless user experiences.

•  Work experience as a Java Developer.
•  Experience designing, building and testing Java EE applications.
•  In-depth knowledge of popular Java frameworks like JSF and Spring MVC.
•  Very good understanding of design patterns Hands on experience on ORM framework
•  Design and develop reusable libraries and APIs.
•  Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
•  Experience on handling exceptions Experience on handling transaction
•  Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies ( JPA2, Hibernate)

• Work with founders to implement an internal and consumer-facing system
• Design client and server-side architecture in collaboration with a technical co-founder
• Write performant and resource-friendly backend code
• Build pixel-perfect and fluid front-end
• Write DRY and neat code (must)
• Write technical documentation as required

Good to have:

• We embrace new tech and if you have made your hand dirty across Webflow and no-code tools, it's highly appreciated
• Typescript we dont expect, but it's good to have
• Worked with designer tools, such as Illustrator
