Android Development
Java
Flutterbe the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You
will be working along-side other engineers and developers working on different layers of the
infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated
design, and creating quality products is essential.
On top of that, Android engineers create new features as critical members of the
product development team. As an Android engineer, you'll build new products and make our
frameworks reliable, reusable, and fast.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Work with a small team of mobile engineers to build our Android platform.
ā¢ Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
ā¢ Design, build and maintain reusable, and reliable Java code
ā¢ Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
ā¢ Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
ā¢ Improve our code quality and code organization.
ā¢ Write and maintain unit and integration tests for our Android Apps
Qualifications
ā¢ 2+ years of experience in Android application development.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with
different screen sizes
ā¢ Experience with MVVM, MVP Patterns.
ā¢ Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
ā¢ Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
ā¢ Familiarity with the use of Android APIs, such as GPS and bluetooth
ā¢ Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
ā¢ Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
ā¢ Passion for mobile products and personal projects or other work on the Play Store are
a plus.
ā¢ A knack for benchmarking and optimisation
ā¢ Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
ā¢ Experience with Writing unit tests using JUnit/Mockito
ā¢ Experience in writing Integration/UI tests with Espresso
ā¢ Familiarity with continuous integration
ā¢ Impeccable attention to detail in all aspects of development from performance to UI.
ā¢ Knowledge about mobile devices to decide implementation tradeoffs correctly.

standards and technical design.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Execute full software development life cycle
ā¢ Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
ā¢ Write well-designed, testable code
ā¢ Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
ā¢ Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
ā¢ Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
ā¢ Document and maintain software functionality
ā¢ Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
ā¢ Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
ā¢ Comply with project plans and industry standards
ā¢ Ensure software is updated with latest features
Qualifications
ā¢ Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer
ā¢ Prior work experience of 1-6 years is welcome
ā¢ Experience designing interactive applications
ā¢ Understanding of algorithms and data structures
ā¢ Ability to develop software in Node.js(JavaScript), React.js, Python, Scala, Java or other
programming languages
ā¢ Excellent knowledge of databases, SQL and non-SQL technologies is a plus
ā¢ Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web-framework
is a plus
ā¢ Experience with test-driven development
ā¢ Proficiency in software engineering tools
ā¢ Ability to document requirements and specifications
ā¢ Experience with Data Science is a plus
ā¢ University/college degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
