2. Develop sketches, illustrations, and design prototypes for various age groups, from infants to pre-teens

3. Stay updated with the latest fashion trends, color palettes, fabric innovations, and design techniques in kids' wear industry

4. Translate trend research into practical and appealing designs

5. Material selection and sourcing

6. Create detailed technical specifications and tech packs for each design

• Manage and docket Intellectual Property (IP) filings, deadlines, review attorney invoices, and work closely with the company’s Patent Counsel
• Conduct prior art database searches for patentability and freedom to operate analyses and analyze patents, scientific papers, and documents
• Prepare, draft, and file patent applications and draft responses to office actions
• Administer new/renewal IP filings and prepare/coordinate documentation for internal stakeholder review
• Coordinate invention disclosure documents, internal discussions, and provide guidance on a variety of patent and IP-related issues
• Serve as a liaison between inventors, Emerging Technology, and outside counsel
• Provide ongoing guidance to the business teams regarding invention disclosures, prior art searches, inventorship, and IP guidance
• Develop and maintain excellent partnerships with internal and external parties to build efficiencies, successful project deadlines, and best practices for internal IP
