What You’ll Work On
This is not a “just another internship.” You’ll be directly contributing to the global
race to perfect speech AI:
1. Benchmarking the world’s speech models
○ Design and run evaluations for ASR and speech-to-speech systems.
○ Create benchmarks that will guide top AI labs on where their models
fail and where they shine.
2. Modeling & Fine-Tuning
○ Fine-tune speech recognition systems (like Whisper/wav2vec2) to push
Word Error Rates toward ~5%.
○ Experiment with multilingual, code-switched, and noisy speech
to mimic real-world conditions.
3. Impact at Scale
○ Your work won’t just sit in a paper. It will influence how the
world’s largest AI models get built, tested, and improved.
Who We’re Looking For
● Final-year undergraduates (B.Tech/B.E.) in CSE, EE, AI/ML, or related fields.
● Strong interest in speech, audio, NLP, or multimodal AI.
● Hands-on experience in one or more of:
○ Fine-tuning speech or language models (Whisper, wav2vec2,
HuBERT, SER, etc.)
○ Building speech-driven projects (assistants, classifiers, chatbots,
SER systems)
○ Working with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face transformers.
● Bonus: past projects on GitHub, Kaggle, or research papers.

Responsibilities:
· Completion of shop floor loading & monitor closely productivity of workers.
- Ensure completion of daily production targets adhering to defined standards of cost, quality and time
- Attend productivity meetings to discuss the discrepancies in the planned vs actual plan.
- Preparation of productivity reports based on throughput & timeliness for presenting the same in productivity meetings.
- Undertake Production Planning and Control activities ensuring adherence to production targets in terms of cost, quality, throughput & timeliness Coordinate with the technical design (electrical and mechanical) function for a design review before the start of every work order and for clarifications on design parameters during production
- Ensure material requisitions are raised on time to obtain the material from the stores team
- Ensure the adherence of the workers to the shift schedule.
- Drive discipline on the shop floor and maintain healthy industrial relations in coordination with the HR function
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement in section of the production process
- Ensure appropriate training is been given to the winding team by conducting various training sessions.
- Ensure all the documentation & statutory compliances are fulfilled in timely manner to facilitate completion of all the audits.
- Identify production bottlenecks and ensure elimination of the same in coordination with the engineering function
- Drive cost savings through cost effective utilization of resources, process improvements and reduction in operational expenses / overheads
- Ensure all production related documentations / records are maintained and updated through SAP
- Ensure compliance to SOP’s ,process flows and production protocol to ensure minimum deviation from specifications
