About the Role

We’re looking for a Data Engineer who can turn messy, unstructured information into clean, usable insights. You’ll be building crawlers, integrating APIs, and setting up data flows that power our analytics and AI layers. If you love data plumbing as much as data puzzles — this role is for you.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain Python-based data pipelines, crawlers, and integrations with 3rd-party APIs.

Perform brute-force analytics and exploratory data work on crawled datasets to surface trends and anomalies.

- Develop and maintain ETL workflows — from raw ingestion to clean, structured outputs.

- Collaborate with product and ML teams to make data discoverable, queryable, and actionable.

- Optimize data collection for performance, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

- Strong proficiency in Python and Jupyter notebooks.

- Experience building web crawlers / scrapers and integrating with REST / GraphQL APIs.

- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms (DSA).

- Comfort with quick, hands-on analytics — slicing and validating data directly.

Good to Have

- Experience with schema design and database modeling.

- Exposure to both SQL and NoSQL databases; familiarity with vector databases is a plus.

- Knowledge of data orchestration tools (Dagster preferred).

- Understanding of data lifecycle management — from raw to enriched layers.

Intake, Ideation and Planning

 Should have the smartness and presence of mind to provide on the spot solutions to the business owners objections and concerns as well as to be able to Pivot from a prepped position basis the conversation

      o Establish relationships with new and niche Clients to expand our reach.

 Required Qualifications and Skills-

 MBA or a Post Graduate – Minimum 4 years work experience is mandatory.

Main tasks

• Supervision of the CI/CD process for the automated builds and deployments of web services and web applications as well as desktop tool in the cloud and container environment
• Responsibility of the operations part of a DevOps organization especially for development at LS telcom in the environment of container technology and orchestration, e.g. with Kubernetes
• Installation, operation and monitoring of web applications in cloud data centers for the purpose of development of the test as well as for the operation of an own productive cloud as LS service
• Implementation of installations of the LS system solution especially in the container context
• Introduction, maintenance and improvement of installation solutions for LS development in the desktop and server environment as well as in the cloud and with on-premise Kubernetes
• Maintenance of the system installation documentation and implementation of trainings

Execution of internal software tests and support of involved teams and stakeholders

• Hands on Experience with Azure DevOps.

Qualification profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications engineering, electrical engineering, physics or comparable qualification
• Experience in software
• Installation and administration of Linux and Windows systems including network and firewalling aspects
• Experience with build and deployment automation with tools like Jenkins, Gradle, Argo or similar as well as system scripting (Bash, Power-Shell, etc.)
• Interest in operation and monitoring of applications in virtualized and containerized environments in cloud and on-premise
• Server environments, especially application, web-and database servers
• Knowledge in VMware/K3D/Rancer is an advantage
• Good spoken and written knowledge of English

Job Description:

• Resource should be proficient in analyzing, designing and developing applications based on the requirements provided by business counterparts
• Developing and maintaining applications developed in Java, J2EE, Struts and Spring and possessing 3-layer architecture
• Good knowledge in Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular JS, Docker, VUE JS and AWS
• Applications development or maintenance using ORM tools such as Hibernate
• Database management which includes DB design and maintenance, mostly related to 2016 and Oracle 19c, DB2
• Should have knowledge in Unix / Linux OS.
• Should have good knowledge in Shell scripting language
• Strictly adhere to the internal SDLC process quality standards set but the organization and providing the drive to the team to achieve the KPI and SLA targets
• Flexible to work in extended time
• Candidate should have good experience on Java / J2EE, Springboot, Hibernate / JPA, Oracle query, Web Services and Rabbit MQ.
• Should have minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience. Should be able to work on enhancement, maintenance and production support.
• Good to have hands-on experience on DEVOPS & API development.

- Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular or React with Redux. 

- Experience working in NodeJS with Express 

- Experience with PHP development using any one of it's framework will be considered as    a value add 

- Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases, the ability to write efficient queries        and benchmark/profile them 

- Mastery of object oriented JavaScript, ES6, HTML, and CSS/SASS/StyledComponents 

- Experience in RESTful API development 

- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming 

- Experience with performance debugging and benchmarking 

- Experience with testing frameworks like Karma, mocha, or jest 

- Experience with Git version control 

- Understanding of CI/CD 

- Strong attention to design detail (UI/UX).
