Project Manager

We are looking for a Techno-Functional Data Architect or Lead Data Engineer to lead and

deliver a large-scale data initiative. The role requires a strong balance of hands-on data

engineering expertise, business understanding, and client & team leadership.

The ideal candidate will act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and

the technical team, ensuring requirements are clearly understood, solutions are well-

designed, and delivery is executed on time and with high quality.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Client Management

 Act as the single point of contact for the client on data-related initiatives

 Understand business requirements and translate them into clear technical

specifications

 Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and change requests

 Present progress updates, data insights, and implementation approaches to

stakeholders

Technical Leadership

 Lead the design and implementation of data engineering solutions, including

ETL/ELT pipelines

 Review and validate data models, transformations, and integration logic

 Ensure best practices in data quality, performance, scalability, and security

 Guide the team on architecture decisions and resolve complex technical challenges

 Participate hands-on when required for critical design or troubleshooting

Team Leadership & Coordination

 Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts

 Allocate tasks, review deliverables, and ensure adherence to timelines and quality

standards

 Support knowledge transfer and documentation activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory

 8 – 15 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Platforms

 Strong experience in ETL/ELT projects and data integration

 Proficiency in SQL and at least one major ETL or data integration tool

 Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, and

transformations

 Proven experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder management

 Experience leading and coordinating technical teams

 Excellent communication and documentation skills

 Experience in the Insurance domain

Must-Have Skills:

5–10 years of experience in Data Engineering or Master Data Management.

5+ years hands-on experience with Informatica MDM (Multi-Domain Edition).

Strong understanding of MDM concepts: golden record, hierarchy management, trust/survivorship, data governance.

Proficient in:

Informatica MDM Hub Console, Provisioning Tool, Services Integration Framework (SIF).

ActiveVOS workflows, user exits (Java), and match/merge tuning.

SQL, PL/SQL, and data modeling for MDM.

Experience integrating MDM with upstream and downstream systems (ERP, CRM, Data Lake, etc.).

Knowledge of data quality integration using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).

Key Responsibilities:

● Configure and implement Informatica MDM Hub, including subject area models, base

objects, landing tables, and relationships.

● Develop and fine-tune match & merge rules, trust scores, and survivorship logic for

creating golden records.

● Design and build ActiveVOS workflows for data stewardship, exception handling, and

business process approvals.

● Collaborate with data stewards and business teams to define data standards, ownership

models, and governance rules.

● Integrate data from various source systems via batch processing, REST APIs, or

message queues.

● Set up and maintain data quality checks and validations (in conjunction with

Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)) to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.

● Build and customize Informatica MDM User Exits (Java), SIF APIs, and business entity

services as needed.

● Support MDM data loads, synchronization jobs, batch group configurations, and

performance tuning.

● Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall data architecture and

governance standards.

● Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and documentation of technical designs

and user guides.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

● Experience with Informatica EDC and Axon for metadata and governance integration.

● Exposure to cloud deployments of Informatica MDM (on GCP, Azure, or AWS).

● Familiarity with data stewardship concepts, data lineage, and compliance

frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

● Basic knowledge of DevOps tools for MDM deployments (e.g., Git, Jenkins)

What will I be doing?

• Ideate with key stakeholders, do market research and translate business goals to the product roadmap
• Define the product release process and coordinate all the processes required to bring the product to market
• ● Interview and understand customer needs, problems, and experiences, document and report insights
•  Coordinate with other teams/ stakeholders to deliver the product in a continuously evolving environment. 
• Identify and track key success metrics for all the products. Generate strategies to improve usage and take it to
• Prioritize features against what matters most to achieve the strategic goals and initiatives.
• Define requirements of the features from desired business use cases and write software requirement specifications - technical (database design, architecture)
• Coordinate with developers and outsourcing agencies to develop the products, guide developers, and review code if required.
• Anticipate possible issues in the future when the product is deployed to scale and take preventative steps for high uptime.
• Prepare product impact reports and present them to funders at regular intervals.

What skill do I need?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is a must in IT/Computer Engineering.
• Min 3 years of end-to-end software development experience and knowledge of tech stack (Angular, PHP, NodeJS, Android, and React) technical.
• Experience as a Product manager/owner in one of the business domains in Agriculture, Media& Advertisement, Healthcare, Payment
• Interested and curious to work at the intersection of multiple functional areas such as Product Management,
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation
• Manage the product development process from conception through design, build, release, experimentation, analysis, and iteration
• Communicate the business values to the field and customers
• Proven organizational skills; ability to multi-task and work on several assignments concurrently but still be detail oriented.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in sales.

• Be responsible for building and managing a sales force and distribution network capable of marketing and selling Vimbri Media's full product line in his / her territory.

Responsibilities:

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system architects, and product managers, to define software requirements and specifications for embedded systems.

·        Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and multi-threaded programming.
