Job Description:

§ Understanding client requirements & functional specifications.

§ Developing and maintaining dynamic websites and web applications.

Desired Candidate Profile:

· Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language - one or more from Python, JavaScript, NodeJS

· Proficient knowledge of back-end server frameworks - Flask

· Proficient knowledge in handling any from JSON, XML & YAML

· Databases: MongoDB

· Proficient In configuring backend in Nginx Server

· Experience in building the API services from scratch - Project structuring, setting up environment objects, build reusable components, etc,

· IDE: Visual Studio Code, PyCharm Notepad++.

· Should have excellent written & oral communication skills (English)

· Must have the capacity to work independently and also as a part of a team

Experience: 6 to 10 Years

Must have:

• Experience in leading teams and handling communication among engineers and product managers,and have worked with mobile teams and product teams.
• Experience working on RFC documentation.
• Experience in architecting the software, estimating tasks, breaking down into subtasks, prioritizing tasks as per need, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing mobile-first applications.
• Creating and maintaining clean and clear front-end code and backend APIs for our web and mobile applications.
• Automation and Deployments of builds - Frontend and Backend.
• Application Performance And Error Monitoring and Automation
• Maintaining excellent test coverage for our code base.
• Follow best practices while reviewing pull requests
• Working with our shared services and field teams to identify application bottlenecks and make relevant architectural decisions.
• Working with our front-end application developers to optimize performance across our system.
• Designing administrative tools for our shared services and business development teams
• Constantly optimizing our code bases with an eye for modularity and legibility.
• Writing documentation for our external and internal APIs.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of RESTful JSON web API design principles.
• Demonstrable experience with NodeJS, Express. JS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Familiarity with popular NodeJS packages (e. g. express, socket-io).
• Must have experience with test driven development(TDD).
• Experience in JavaScript development.
• Experience in backend web development.
• Containerisation experience working with Docker/ Kubernetes/ Docker Swarm
• Familiarity with multiple additional programming languages/stacks.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, ideally MongoDB.
• Experience with RDBMS databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• An excellent understanding of distributed systems and their tradeoffs.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Ability to clearly articulate technical problems, design and implementation choices to a broad range of stakeholders (e. g. sales team, users, security experts).
• Experience working with web sockets.
• Familiarity with the AWS stack.
• Experience in application security testing.
• Familiarity with client-side JavaScript frameworks and best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD Pipeline.

Job Summary
- Expand the product to suit the needs of all kinds of travellers. From family travellers to hardcore backpackers and from free independent travellers to those who need a more guided approach to planning their trip. 
- Launch across more countries. This means adding support for more geographies, things to do, weather, currencies and payments, transport and accommodation. 
- Scale it up to serve millions of users a year, from across the globe. We are seeing decent growth, but it is time to up the game.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

- 4+ years industry experience working with golang/Django
- Sound understanding of CS fundamentals. We don't expect you to remember every algorithm by heart. But if you know how to find the most appropriate one for any given problem, let's talk. 
- Personal projects that show an aptitude for technical excellence and product sense. 
- Interest in contributing to open source projects 
- Bonus points if you have an interest in the philosophy behind technologies. - You are intrigued by why did people develop certain technologies the way they did.

Salary: ₹2,000,000.00 to ₹3,000,000.00 /year

• Identify bad code practices in JavaScript and write new analyzers to detect them.
• Improve the coverage of automatically fixable issues.
• Ensure fewer false-positives are reported by the analyzer.
• Work on the internal tools that support analysis runtimes.
• Contribute to open-source static analysis tools.

• Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science.
• At least 3 years of professional software development experience in JavaScript.
• Understanding of the nuances of execution of the source code (AST, data flow graphs, etc).
• Familiarity with JavaScript practices followed in the industry.
• Native experience with Linux/Unix environment.
• A focus on delivering high-quality code through strong testing practices.

• Ability to code and implement front-end web applications and backend processing systems.
• Research, evaluate, and prototype new methodologies, technologies, Prepare proofs-of-concept.
• Convert business requirements into technical documentation using UML diagrams.

Skills Required:

• Multi-tier Web Services / RESTful APIs

• Understanding and usage of the unit testing framework. Like NUnit, x unit, and JUnit

Education Required:

• Candidates with Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) are preferred.
