Job Description :

- We are looking for a seasoned Computer Vision Engineer with AI/ML/CV and Deep Learning skills to
play a senior leadership role in our Product & Technology Research Team.
- You will be leading a team of CV researchers to build models that automatically transform millions of ecommerce, automobiles, food, real-estate ram images into processed final images.
- You will be responsible for researching the latest art of the possible in the field of computer vision,
designing the solution architecture for our offerings and lead the Computer Vision teams to build the core
algorithmic models & deploy them on Cloud Infrastructure.
- Working with the Data team to ensure your data pipelines are well set up and
models are being constantly trained and updated
- Working alongside product team to ensure that AI capabilities are built as democratized tools that
provides internal as well external stakeholders to innovate on top of it and make our customers
successful
- You will work closely with the Product & Engineering teams to convert the models into beautiful products
that will be used by thousands of Businesses everyday to transform their images and videos.

Job Requirements:

- 4-5 years of experience overall.
- Looking for strong Computer Vision experience and knowledge.
- BS/MS/ Phd degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject from a ivy league institute
- Exposure on Deep Learning Techniques, TensorFlow/Pytorch
- Prior expertise on building Image processing applications using GANs, CNNs, Diffusion models
- Expertise with Image Processing Python libraries like OpenCV, etc.
- Good hands-on experience on Python, Flask or Django framework
- Authored publications at peer-reviewed AI conferences (e.g. NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR,ICCV, ACL)
- Prior experience of managing teams and building large scale AI / CV projects is a big plus
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

Job Description:

 

QA automation is a key component of Kaplan's ability to quickly launch high-quality, innovative education products to our students. As an integral member of a cross-functional Agile team, you will use industry-standard tools and frameworks to conduct functional and performance testing on web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.

 

In this role you will:

 

• Develop automated mobile application test scripts that are robust, performant, and maintainable using Appium, Espresso, XCUITest or other tools.
• Ensure that applications and APIs developed by the team are reliable and meet user’s needs
• Work closely with developers, designers, and devops to meet team commitments
• Manage the timeline and status of the software release process
• Work with the Tech Lead to improve software development and quality assurance processes
• Provide the product owner with information they need to prioritize features (e.g., effort estimates, alternatives, technical risk)
• Work closely with developers to learn implementation details about product feature and perform releases
• Provide production support of software products by investigating and recreating reported defects
• Work closely with stakeholders to implement with different types of Performance Testing like : Load Testing, Stress Testing, Volume Testing, Capacity Testing, Reliability Testing

 

You must have:

• Minimum 5 or more years of software testing and quality assurance
• BS/MS in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience
• A Good understanding of the mobile devices, their peripheral devices, networks etc.
• A Good understanding of the Android and iOS designs and its components.
• Hands on experience with emulators, simulators.
• Hands on experience by testing mobile app performances with automation application testing tools.
• Well versed with different types of Performance Testing like : Load Testing, Stress Testing, Volume Testing, Capacity Testing, Reliability Testing. etc
• Experience in developing end to end system level automation and tools design

• Experience with mobile automated testing frameworks, such as Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.

• Proficient with Devops and concept for example : Jenkins, Git and Docker
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services is a plus.
• Experience with the entire software lifecycle - requirements capture, analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance, deployment, and maintenance
• Perform Mobile test task estimation, test execution, Regression testing, Functional System testing
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

● Familiarity with most of the following programming languages/frameworks : Javascript,

node.js.

● Familiarity with SCM tools like Git and code editors like VSCode.

● Adequate knowledge of Relational and non-relational Databases like mysql and mongoDB.

● Functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST)

● A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session

management, and best development practices (Basic Auth, JWT, etc).

● Knowledge of Blockchain, Linux OS, CI/CD, cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, etc, is a plus.

Work with team members on design of software systems and support to development team. Establish processes and best practices with defined database standards. Skills / competencies: Extensive experience working with enterprise applications using relational databases (Postgresql is preferred). Strong knowledge and experience in query optimisation, performance tuning, using SQL profiler, Performance monitor and related monitoring tools. Experience developing complex queries, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, Triggers and troubleshooting the same. Familiarity with RDBMS principles, normalisation, database design is an added advantage. Understanding of the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application. Special Requirements: 5+ years experience in SQL development, performance tuning and query optimisation. Strong analytical, problem solving, English communication skills, both written and spoken.
