Job Summary & Responsibilities:

Job Overview:

You will work in engineering and development teams to integrate and develop cloud solutions and virtualized deployment of software as a service product. This will require understanding the software system architecture function as well as performance and security requirements. The DevOps Engineer is also expected to have expertise in available cloud solutions and services, administration of virtual machine clusters, performance tuning and configuration of cloud computing resources, the configuration of security, scripting and automation of monitoring functions. This position requires the deployment and management of multiple virtual clusters and working with compliance organizations to support security audits. The design and selection of cloud computing solutions that are reliable, robust, extensible, and easy to migrate are also important.

Experience:

Experience working on billing and budgets for a GCP project - MUST

Experience working on optimizations on GCP based on vendor recommendations - NICE TO HAVE

Experience in implementing the recommendations on GCP

Architect Certifications on GCP - MUST

Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written) - MUST

Excellent documentation skills on processes and steps and instructions- MUST

At least 2 years of experience on GCP.

Basic Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering OR Equivalent.

● Extensive scripting or programming experience (Shell Script, Python).

● Extensive experience working with CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins).

● Extensive experience working with GCP, Azure, or Cloud Foundry.

● Experience working with databases (PostgreSQL, elastic search).

● Must have 2 years of minimum experience with GCP certification.

Basic Qualification: 

• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, Node.js

• Play an integral part in managing E-commerce project and planned website release from inception to completion
• Shift our current Shopify website to magento
• Create accurate development and support tickets and instruct and manage the relationship with the external development team.
• Work closely with our Ecommerce platform provider on areas such as site performance, site speed, infrastructure, and new product releases.
• Working with website monitoring and testing tools to ensure the website is performing optimally at all times.
• Work with Business Units to develop Ecommerce digital plans to improve conversion from all key channels
• In depth knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS & JS

We are looking for young and smart sales enthusiasts who will become the face of EduRev and communicate with our end users.

About the role

As a Student Success Manager, you will be an individual contributor assisting EduRev’s sales and growth efforts by contributing to new customer acquisition and retaining existing customers by constantly supporting them. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Understanding the product and the target market audience. Become a product evangelist first.
• Handle the problems faced by users in real-time
• Ensuring that EduRev offers customer experience to all its users across multiple platforms.
• Communicate with users on a regular basis to understand how we can improve the product further and understand the problems faced by users.
• Run experiments to understand the processes which get the maximum conversion & ROI.
• Making outbound calls to potential users, understanding the context of a student's preparation, assessing his/her learning patterns and pitching relevant products and making a sale.
• Building an empathetic relationship with the students and understanding their motivation levers and genuinely guide them in taking the right decision.
• Increase the brand awareness among users through direct interaction with the users & their parents.

Desired Candidate profile:

• You are genuinely excited to help students and ready to put yourself in the students’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary.
• You have experience in using CRM tools from the scratch and have an understanding of how to utilize them for conversion improvement.
• You have proven inside sales experience for a B2C product preferably in an EdTech company.
• You are the one who can communicate EduRev's vision to retain the users, increase their experience and loyalty and acquire new learners on the platform.
• You have strong interpersonal skills and experience in dialling dozens of calls per day.
• You are already a star performer and have the fire to achieve your weekly and monthly targets.

• Min 5 years of software development experience, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in a Go programming language
• Strong software development fundamentals (Data structures,  Algorithms, problem-solving,  OO  design,  systems architecture,  and development methods).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask, learn and thrive in a timeline-driven environment
• Good understanding of memory/SQL/NoSQL database concepts (key-value, schemas, indexing, etc)
• Writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
• Translating software requirements into stable, working, high-performance software
• Playing a key role in architectural and design decisions, building toward an efficient microservice distributed architecture

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms
• Knowledge of common Goroutine and channel patterns
• Experience with the full site of Go frameworks and tools, including:
