Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications. As a Java Developer, you will work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other members of the development team to create high-quality software that meets our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize and execute tasks
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain code quality and ensure that the software is consistent with established standards
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software by following agile development methodologies
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming principles
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Struts
• Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Responsibilities

• Understand existing business operations tool used by customer support and business teams.
• Work with Engineering Manager to upgrade the system to improve system stability and response times.
• Independently lead design and implement new features as per business requirements provided by Product Management team.
• Develop elegant, modular and maintainable solutions. Document all design, operations steps for knowledge sharing purposes.
• Guide junior team members on feature implementation and provide relevant training on existing modules.

• Payara/GlassFish/similar application server environments

Preferred Skills

• 2-8 years of overall experience in software design and development.
• Ability to analyze existing application, implement new features and re-architect the application in case of inefficiencies.
• Strong object-oriented skills and ability to apply design patterns.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers on development, code review, project planning.

• Proficiency in Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems

3. Strong knowledge of Akamai CDN, Redis, AWS services
4. Understanding of LAMP and MVC design patterns
5. Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, JS

framework

1. Knowledge of Payment Gateway
2. Familiarity with MySQL/ PgSQL/ Mongo databases
3. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
4. Understanding accessibility and security compliance
5. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
6. User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and

environments

Skills:

1. Building and maintenance of applications.
2. Extensive understanding of project management processes, principles and

methodologies.

2. Keeping up with the trends in technology and being up for challenges.

Qualification:

1. B. Tech in Computer Science or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
2. Master’s degree in Computer Applications /M Tec. would be preferred.

The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the layout, design and coding of websites specifically in PHP format. You must also possess a strong knowledge of web application development using PHP programming language and MySQL Server databases. 

Responsibilities

- Who can understand and demonstrate to maintain Data Quality in high volume data  systems.

- One who can understand and can deliver highly tested system

- Who can routines to test their own code using negative sql concepts.

- Who can use OOP concepts with same class being used everywhere.

- Knowledge in Angular.js and Laravel is mandatory
