Product Manager

Position: Admin (Overall) Incharge (Plywood/ Laminates)

Location: Bhiwadi, Rajasthan

Shift time: 10 AM to 8 PM

Roles & Responsibilities -

·        Manage administrative functioning of the factory and ensure that all departments are fully functional

·        Maintain attendance reports of staff, contract labors, supervisors, etc; and thereafter prepare payroll

·        Act as an overall representative of the management in overseeing administration and other

activities such as purchase, store, maintenance, and miscellaneous works

·        Daily reporting directly to the director with on ground activities of different departments

·        Coordinate with different heads such as production manager, dispatch manager, store incharge, purchase incharge, accounts manager and create synergy to achieve the desired goals set by the management

·        Act as an on-ground lead on various process improvement projects initiated by the management

·        Assist the management in hiring of personnel

·        List of works may include (but not limited to) : ensuring all set protocols/procedures are followed by all, reduce leakages and wastages, taking manpower reporting from labour contractor, assist in factory work such as order processing, dispatch, store, purchase, infrastructure completion, etc.

Experience - 

The Candidate should:

·        Be 35+ years of age and have prior experience of 5-8 yrs in dealing with top management

·        Should have knowledge of basic accounting, billing, etc.

·        Be comfortable with managing manual reports and planning

·        Most importantly be trustworthy and dependable

The founder is Shariq Plasticwala. He is a graduate of IIT Bombay & Stanford GSB. He was part of the founding team of Amazon India where he played a key role for over 8 years. Role

The role is a unique opportunity to be a part of the core team at KAFQA. The responsibilities of the role are per the below:

• Understand the needs of employees across different segments across their lifecycle (discovery of Kafqa opportunities, application experience, interview experience, decision experience, onboarding, settling down, scaling with the organization, attrition & separation) & design best in class experiences always thinking technology first
• Understand the needs of instructors separately and design best in class experiences for them in partnership with head of departments and other teams.
• Meet compliances mandated by central & state governments.

The role is based in Bangalore, India and reports directly to the Founder, CEO of KAFQA.

Experience, Qualifications & Person Type

Professional Requirements:

• 2-8 Years professional development experience.
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience.
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Good understanding of high level and low-level design of distributed systems.
• Experience coding in any one of the following Java or Nodejs.
• Experience building highly available distributed systems on cloud infrastructure will be plus.
• Exposure to architectural pattern of a large, high-scale web application.

Requirement/responsibilities: To take a project from scoping requirements through launch of the project. Ownership of product/feature end-to-end for all phases from the development to the production. Ensuring the developed features are scalable and highly available with no quality concerns. Work closely with senior engineers for refining the and implementation. Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments. Participate in design and code reviews.

Job Description:-

• Proven experience with coding using JAVA/J2EE.
• Experience developing MultiChannel responsive web application.
• experience working with Windows, Unix/Linux Operating system environments.
• Familiarity with common stacks.
• Experience/Knowledge of multiple front - end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.    
• Willingness to travel within India or aboard for short term or long term would an added advantage.

Primary Job Description 

1. a) Visual Design Strategy

• Work with the marketing and product team to identify visual design themes for cohesion with overall Freeup brand identity and areas for brand differentiation in the context of social commerce space.
• Work with marketing leadership to identify disruptive design strategies to enhance brand differentiation and positioning across FreeUp products and experiences

1. b) Visual Design Operations

• Provide visual design inputs for the brand calendar across all channels -social media, PR and owned channels.
• Develop and execution integrated marketing campaigns across owned ,paid and partnership media both online and offline
• Provide design templates to ensure brand visual consistency in all partner engagements, co-branded

communication & campaigns.

Qualifications

Candidate should have a strong graphic design background who is also proficient in 2D animation

• Ideally having worked for a high-growth consumer startup supplying content to social media or ads teams
• Kinetic typography and composite layering should be included in the requirements
• Bonus if they have the ability to draw/sketch by hand
• Having 3-5 years of experience (being a junior may not be a disadvantage here)
• Ready to complete an assignment e.g. a 15-second video within 24 hours
• Having an impressive portfolio to showcase, both static and short animation work

• Web-based portal development for end to end process management
• Work with the real-time feedback from users to make the product better
