Product Designer (ONLY FROM B2C CONSUMER BASED STARTUP)

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Technical Lead with a strong background in Java, SaaS architectures, firewalls, and cybersecurity products, including SIEM and SOAR platforms. The ideal candidate will lead technical initiatives, design and implement scalable systems, and drive best practices across the engineering team. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a passion for building secure and high-performing security solutions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of scalable and secure software solutions using Java.
• Architect and build SaaS-based cybersecurity applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to the development team.
• Ensure best practices in secure coding, threat modeling, and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Security, and DevOps to deliver high-quality security solutions.
• Design and implement security analytics, automation workflows and ITSM integrations.
•  Drive continuous improvements in engineering processes, tools, and technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and lead incident response for critical production systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering or a related field
• 3-6 years of software development experience, with expertise in Java.
• Strong background in building SaaS applications with cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• In-depth understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring engineers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cybersecurity solutions, including SIEM (e.g., Splunk, ELK, IBM QRadar) and SOAR (e.g., Palo Alto XSOAR, Swimlane).
• Knowledge of zero-trust security models and secure API development.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning or AI-driven security analytics.

About the role

Having found exceptional product/market fit, we’re in the midst of transitioning from 'start-up' to ‘scale-up’, and looking for a full stack engineer to help us scale Plum.

You will have a direct impact on the customer experience through the design and implementation of new features and functionalities in our product. You'll work as part of a small but rapidly growing high-energy team delivering incredible, creative improvements to our product. You'll be in charge of reviewing the implementation of applications following code standards and style guides.

• Spec, build, test, and deliver new features while improving the performance and quality of the product.
• Run test-harness to guarantee the structure, integrity, and design of the application.
• Solve complex CSS, HTML, and User Interface compatibility issues across browsers.
• Optimize JavaScript implementations to ensure that code remains performant.
• Implement front-end development workflows: build systems, dependency management, quality checkers (linting), etc.
• Push things over the line, ship awesome features, and delight customers.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience building web applications with Nodejs, React.
• Comfortable with Responsive Web Design and Development and weave out beautiful code in React.
• Strong product and design sensibilities and has an obsessive attention to detail.
• Write testable, maintainable code that's easy to understand.
• Understand complex problems and break them down into smaller tasks.
• Strong sense of ownership and integrity demonstrated through clear communication and collaboration.

As a Assistant Content Manager you will be responsible for working on assets that create sales conversions on company’s online store, email marketing and social media campaigns and will analysing the performance of those assets in detail, crunch the numbers, and optimize them and assist in creating, managing and improving content for various marketing channels.

• Working alongside copywriters, UI/UX designers, graphic designers, and team members from other departments to create and deliver assets
• Managing content distribution to online channels and social media platforms
• Proofreading, editing and improving content created by copywriters and ensure brand consistency
• Developing a thorough understanding of conversion optimization (training will be given in-house) and apply across our brands, platforms and channels
• Managing products for multiple brands, geographies and across websites
• Analysing performance data and find creative ways for optimization
• Ensuring compliance with law (e.g. copyright and regulatory bodies)

Desired Candidate Profile

• Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Perform various types of testing like sanity, functional, exploratory, integration, and system testing to ensure that the product delivered is of high quality.
• Support the Planning of test schedules in accordance with project scope/delivery dates and ensure that the timelines are adhered to without fail.
• Have very good knowledge of SDLC and STLC life cycles and working knowledge in agile.
• Work as part of cross-functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery.
• Contributing toward predictable delivery of quality releases.
• Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results.
• Very good at manual testing of web and windows based applications, web services testing, and integration testing of a complex system, iOS and Android applications.
• Defect Tracking and Reporting of bugs to developers so as to fix it and follow-ups.
• Lesson Learnt documents (based on testing inputs from the previous project)
• Suggestion Documents (to improve software quality)
• Leads test processes and delivers results to necessary stakeholders.
• Reviews changes or upgrades to existing tests, tools, and testing protocols.
• Good to have knowledge over Stockbroking applications, financial and capital market domain.
