Product Designer

We are seeking a curious, detail-oriented, and quality-driven tester who is passionate about building great products within a startup culture. This role goes beyond traditional testing—you will be responsible for evaluating the entire product experience before it reaches the client.

Your primary responsibility will be testing across product functionality, UI, UX, and overall usability, while also having basic awareness of automation testing tools and concepts.

You will work closely with developers, designers, and product teams to ensure that what we ship is stable, intuitive, clean, and client-ready.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manual Testing (Primary Focus)

• Perform end-to-end manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
• Test all product features to ensure they work as expected across different scenarios.
• Identify, document, and report bugs, edge cases, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
• Validate fixes and ensure issues are fully resolved before release.
• Test applications from a real user’s perspective, not just based on requirements.

2. Product-Level Testing

• Evaluate whether the product:
• Solves the intended problem
• Has all the required features
• Feels complete and production-ready
• Identify missing flows, broken logic, or confusing behaviors.
• Ensure the product delivers a good overall experience, not just correct functionality.

3. UI Testing

• Review the visual quality of the product:
• Layout consistency
• Alignment, spacing, typography, and colors
• Check if the UI is:
• Clean and intuitive
• Not overly complex or cluttered
• Easy for users to understand and navigate
• Report UI inconsistencies across screens, devices, or browsers.

4. UX Testing

• Analyze how smooth and logical the user journey is.
• Identify friction points in:
• Navigation
• User flows
• Interactions and feedback
• Ensure the product feels natural, fast, and easy to use.
• Suggest improvements to enhance usability and user satisfaction.

5. Automation Testing Awareness

• understanding of automation testing concepts.
• Familiarity with common automation tools such as
• Selenium
• Cypress
• Playwright
• Postman (for API testing)
• Ability to understand where automation fits into the testing lifecycle.

6. Code Awareness (Secondary)

• Have a basic understanding of code and system behavior.
• Ability to:
• Read logs or error messages
• Understand where issues might originate
• Direct code-level testing is not mandatory, but awareness is a plus.

Job Title: Assistant Manager – Finance

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and other compliance frameworks

Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory obligations: GST, TDS, PF, PT, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings.

Handle tax audits, GST reconciliations (GSTR-1, 2B, 3B), TDS returns, and coordinate with external consultants/auditors.

Requirements:

• Installing and configuring software, hardware and networks. •Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes

•Provide technical support for hardware/software issues and resolve help desk requests

•Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns.

•Upgrade systems with new releases and models and ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.

•Constant finetuning of the OS for improving the performance of the system.

•Coordinating with OEM support teams in case of any dockets raised and ensure the issues are resolved.

Job Location

We are based out of Bengaluru and work from an office. We encourage working from office, but are completely ok if you would like to work remotely until things return to normal.

Expectations from the role

• You will work closely with the founding team and a small team of engineers, currently outsourced, in a fast-paced environment.
• You will work as a tech lead and will be responsible for architecting the new features as well as improving the existing codebase. You will be expected to have a high degree of ownership and responsibility for deliverables.
• You will wear a product hat as and when required and help in shaping the product.
• You will provide technical mentorship to other engineers in the team and will lead a team of junior engineers.
• You should be able to deal with ambiguity, have strong bias towards action, ability to deep dive whenever required and quickly deliver to unblock the team

Preferred experience and competencies

• You are a software engineer with 4+ years of industry experience.
• Professional experience with at least one web dev framework (ReactJS or Django/Python)
• Professional experience with one or more (SQL or NoSQL) databases.
• A stint in a product company or a startup or any similar faced paced environment is preferable.
• Experience working with cloud infra providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure etc.) is preferable.
