Job Title: Full Stack Developer (0 to 3 years work experience) Reports to: Team Lead – Development Team

Position Overview: We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (0–3 years) who can go beyond code to understand and solve real business problems. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable writing efficient, scalable software and articulating complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A successful candidate will combine solid development skills with logical reasoning, solution-oriented thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Job Description:

1. Application Development:

• Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and MS SQL.
• Support the frontend development using React and JavaScript to deliver clean and responsive interfaces.
• Translate basic business requirements into functional code under guidance from senior developers.

2. Database Management:

• Write and test SQL queries to support application features.
• Understand relational database design and learn performance optimization techniques.

3. Collaboration & Teamwork:

• Collaborate with team members, including developers, QA, product managers, and designers to deliver features on time.
• Participate in sprint planning and team discussions to gain exposure to agile methodologies.

4. Code Quality & Debugging:

• Follow standard coding practices, version control protocols, and internal documentation norms.
• Learn to identify and fix bugs with mentorship from senior team members engineering processes.

5. Learning & Growth:

• Stay updated with relevant technologies and frameworks to continuously improve your development skills.
• Show curiosity and initiative in learning best practices, tools, and design patterns.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 0 to 3 years of hands-on experience in software development using any of the following: C#, ASP.NET, React, JavaScript, SQL
• Strong interest in building full-stack applications and working in a product-driven environment
• Logical reasoning and a proactive attitude toward learning and problem-solving
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming, web technologies, and databases
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn from peers and mentor

Description: 

 4+ Years of experience in systems development and Guidewire Billing experience. 

 4+ years of technical experience in enterprise-level application design, execution, and software deployments. 

 Hands-on development expertise on Guidewire BillingCenter with configuration. 

 Configure business rules and other business logic in Gosu. 

 Design and code integration components including plug-ins and programs that call the GW APIs Create form and letter templates and their supporting XML descriptor files. 

 Skilled in the use of applicable programming languages for the areas of developing code for, to include but are not limited to Java, SQL etc. 

 Experience leveraging source code management, such as GitHub or Bitbucket. 

 Supports production deployments and automation, actively lead monitoring, job control, and production support, and participates in and provides support for production issues related to the Guidewire solution. 

 Expertise configuring and developing several areas of BillingCenter including but not limited to Account/Policy/Producer Handling, Various Plan Types, Billing Instructions, Charges, Charge Patterns, Charge Invoicing, Invoice Items, Direct/List/Agency Bill Processing, Premium Reporting, Holds and writeoffs, Handling of Trouble Tickets/ Collaterals and Return Premium, Funds Tracking and Contacts. 

 Well versed with all Guidewire Billing center configuration areas like PCF, Gosu, Business Rules, Invoicing, Billing Types, Charge Distributions, Payments, Delinquency process, Commissions, etc. 

 Robust understanding of BillingCenter DataModel

The Opportunity:

As UX Designer you will be responsible for overseeing the design and user experience of Frolick’s website and app. This will include :design, analysis of both web and app performance, audits and strategic recommendations to address user needs and enhance their experience with Frolick’s digital presence. 

Your role will be integral in implementing what success looks like by identifying our customer needs and ensuring that the product supports Frolick’s overall strategy and goals while collaborating with a team to turn that vision into action. As an early team member, you will get an unique opportunity to be in the driving seat of a high-growth startup and define its success story.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead website and app design and development to to drive an amazing user experience that is balanced between intuitive and aesthetically pleasing 
• Know how to understand customers, their needs and experience through market research, customer analysis and user feedback
• Develop user interaction design systems and user flow wireframes to communicate product vision and functionalities
• Build an understanding of how each step in the design process and user choices tier up to the vision of Frolick’s customer journey
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams during implementation and communicate customer feedback and understand technical constraints
• Embody a “can do” and growth mindset, from experimentation and tinkering to constantly pushing your creative ability to better identify our customers’ needs

Requirements / Superpowers:

• 5-7 years of UX design experience, preferably some of it in last-mile logistics or E-commerce
• Strong UX research and design experience with the ability to work both independently and part of a team
• Experience managing multiple projects at once and prioritizing simultaneously
• Knowledge of industry tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch among others
• Experience working in a high-growth environment, preferably at a tech startup
• You are comfortable with ambiguity and highly entrepreneurial 
• Experience with last-mile food, grocery delivery will make you stand out among applicants
• You have a bias towards execution, a desire to execute, learn and iterate
