Carsome’s Data Department is on the lookout for a Data Scientist/Data Science Lead who has a strong passion in building data powered products.

Data Science function under the Data Department has a responsibility for standardisation of methods, mentoring team of data science resources/interns, including code libraries and documentation, quality assurance of outputs, modeling techniques and statistics, leveraging a variety of technologies, open-source languages, and cloud computing platform. 

You will get to lead & implement projects such as price optimization/prediction, enabling iconic personalization experiences for our customer, inventory optimization etc.

Job Descriptions

• Identifying and integrating datasets that can be leveraged through our product and work closely with data engineering team to develop data products.
• Execute analytical experiments methodically to help solve various problems and make a true impact across functions such as operations, finance, logistics, marketing. 
• Identify, prioritize, and design testing opportunities that will inform algorithm enhancements. 
• Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big data stores, perform data and error analysis to improve models and clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy.
• Unlock insights by analyzing large amounts of complex website traffic and transactional data. 
• Implement analytical models into production by collaborating with data analytics engineers.

Technical Requirements

• Expertise in model design, training, evaluation, and implementation ML Algorithm expertise K-nearest neighbors, Random Forests, Naive Bayes, Regression Models. PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, deep learning expertise, tSNE, gradient boosting expertise, regression implementation expertise, Python, Pyspark, SQL, R, AWS Sagemaker /personalize etc.
• Machine Learning / Data Science Certification

Experience & Education 

• Bachelor’s in Engineering / Master’s in Data Science  / Postgraduate Certificate in Data Science.

Position Overview:

We are searching for a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune, India. As a DevOps Engineer at Kiru, you will play a critical role in ensuring our payment infrastructure's reliability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize your expertise in technology infrastructure configuration to manage and automate infrastructure effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Software Developers and technology management, to design and implement robust and efficient DevOps solutions.
• Configure and maintain a secure backend environment focusing on network isolation and VPN access.
• Implement and manage monitoring solutions like ZipKin, Jaeger, New Relic, or DataDog and visualisation and alerting solutions like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Work closely with developers to instrument code for visualisation and alerts, ensuring system performance and stability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate on the selection and implementation of appropriate DevOps tools and technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging DevOps trends and best practices.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to DevOps processes and configurations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience configuring infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Kubernetes as a container orchestration technology
• Experience with Terraform and Azure ARM or Bicep templates for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Experience configuring and maintaining secure backend environments, including network isolation and VPN access.
• Proficiency in setting up and managing monitoring and visualization tools such as ZipKin, Jaeger, New Relic, DataDog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers to instrument code for visualization and alerts.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Services and managing identities across Azure services.
• Previous experience in a financial or payment systems environment.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum of four years of software engineering experience
• Minimum of three years of software engineering experience building multi-tier enterprise applications
• Demonstrated track record of designing, developing, and delivering single page, web-based applications based on Angular.io or other similar JS libraries
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or relevant work experience
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Nexus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Requirements:

• Passion for building and delivering great software with a strong sense of ownership.
• Good understanding into .Net Core and PS
• Minimum of two years of experience in building web applications using ASP.NET MVC and .NET platform in general.
• Should have strong UI development skills using HTML, CSS/JavaScript frameworks.-

     Good understanding of IIS configuration

• Strong experience with Build and Release, Agile processes and Estimation/Planning-
  
  Exposure to New Relic or similar tools to optimize web application performance
