Job Description:

Required skills and qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Python Developer with a strong portfolio of projects.
• hands on exp in react.js
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks and tools such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, sci-kit-learn and PyTorch.
• Experience with front-end development using Angular.js HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
• Excellent problem-solving ability with solid communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Experience with popular Python frameworks such as Django, Flask or Pyramid.
• Knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts and tools.
• A working understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
• Contributions to open-source Python projects or active involvement in the Python community.

Role: Core infrastructure for two global applications.

Key responsibilities:

Heavy Data Lifting: Designing and maintaining complex MongoDB aggregation pipelines and executing high-volume bulk updates.

Systems Connectivity: Managing the lifecycle of Bridges, WebSockets, and REST APIs for global traffic.

Global Reliability: Troubleshooting performance regressions, managing SSL/TLS certificates, and optimizing AWS S3/EC2 resources.

Core Logic: Implementing server-side push notifications, custom payment flows, and background Cron orchestration.

Requirements (Must Have)

Production Experience: Proven experience managing backend services for live, high-traffic applications. (Must have)

Note: Learning projects, bootcamps, and online courses will not be considered.

Python Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in backend Python development. (Must have)

MongoDB Expertise: Deep knowledge of Aggregations and Bulk operations. (Must have)

AWS Proficiency: Direct experience with S3 and EC2 in a production setting. (Must have)

Infrastructure Logic: Ability to manage SSL/Encryption and optimize resource allocation (Cron vs. API). (Must have)

• Responsible for providing technical leadership, design and development of complex pieces of the service oriented architecture based platform.
• Modelling Database Design for large scale applications.
• Develop for performance engineering.
• Design for the right use of micro services, containerization and observability.

• Drive technology and product innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development.
• Create reference implementation for our integrations and for backward compatibility.
• Not interested in managerial responsibilities

Requirement:

• Min 2-3 Year Experience. Preferably in the E-commerce domain. 
• Proficient with both MySQL and NoSql Databases (Elastic, Mongo)

Responsibilities:

• Build scalable, service oriented web applications from scratch for technology products for European market.
• Maintain these applications for accuracy and high availability.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve system designs, architecture and implementation standards
• Participate with founding, business and product teams in discussions on how to build and launch new modules.
• Collaborate across functions and own the planning, estimation and execution for parts of the product.
• Start as an individual contributor but stay ready to build and mentor a small team of up to 5 engineers over the coming months and years.
• Contribute in hiring highly ambitious engineers as the team grows.
• Being among the first people on the engineering team, be a culture driver.

Requirements:

• Experience of architecting and building products/business critical backend applications using different MVC frameworks.
• Experience with microservices.
• Experience of building and maintaining scalable applications using Node.js/MEAN stack.
• Experience of deploying and maintaining web applications.
• Experience with non relational databases like MongoDB.
• Understanding of relational databases like MySQL.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and stress testing tools.
• Good communication skills.

• Exposure in building polyglot applications.
• Exposure for devops and related processes, preferably GCP.
• Knowledge of components in scalable solutions i. e. database partitions, message brokers, background processing.
• Exposure to basic frontend technologies to speed up collaboration with the frontend team.
