Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Openstack Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong hands on experience in Openstack solution design, deployment, and administration. You will be responsible for implementing and optimizing Zybisys private cloud as per the business requirements across all our datacenters.
Technical Skills :
- Active OpenStack contributors to the open-source communities will be highly recommended.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing production-ready multi-region OpenStack cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability across multiple datacenters.
- Strong experience in Kubernetes base Openstack Deploy, Configure, and Management of OpenStack Keystone, Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance and other services.
- Hands-on experience in deploy production-ready CEPH storage clusters and provision for Block Storage, File Storage and Object Storage.
- Good working experience in Ansible, and Terraform tools to automate regular tasks and eliminate human dependency.
- Extensive experience in setting up and managing performance monitoring systems for OpenStack & CEPH environments using tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, Zabbix, and OpenTelemetry.
- Perform regular upgrades and patch management for OpenStack platform to ensure stability and reliability.
- Good understanding of implementing security measures and best practices to protect customer infrastructure and workloads.
- Hands-on experience in handling production troubleshooting, incident management and customer escalations.
Knowledge :
- Good knowledge in IPv4, IPv6, VLAN, VXLAN, Bridging, routing, IP Tables, DNS, DHCP.
- Good understanding of Openstack load balancer, OpenvSwitch, NFV, SDN, VPN, GRE and Edge networks.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and knowledge in using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket for CI/CD deployment.
- Any of the programming skills such as Python, GO, Ruby, and RestAPI are added advantage for the role.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting solutions.
