Associate Principal Engineer (Cloud Infra)

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complete procurement for academic, admin, IT, transport, housekeeping & facility items.
• Evaluate PRs, prepare POs, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Identify, onboard & manage vendors; negotiate best pricing and contracts.
• Maintain procurement documentation, compliance, and vendor performance reports..
• Monitor stock levels, reduce costs, and ensure uniform quality across all campuses
• Coordinate with School Principals, HODs, Finance, IT, Transport & Maintenance teams.
• Lead day-to-day purchasing operations efficiently and effectively.

Skills & Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in procurement/purchasing, with 2+ years in a managerial role. Experience in Education/School/University sector preferred.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, contract handling & cost-saving skills.
• Good knowledge of school/university procurement, government norms, and compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office & ERP systems.
• Graduation, Operations, or related field preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build Sales pipeline/funnel by generating leads via cold calls & through consultants/PMC’s/Architect/Market contacts.

• Establish new business by organizing sales visits, demonstrating/presenting products in collaboration with respective OEMs.

• Identify decision makers within respective verticals & set up meetings to understand and generate opportunities catering to customer needs.

• Responsible for owning the customer account management and support including initial sales efforts to maintain long term, trusted partner relationships and to execute successfully [against plans to grow sales, revenues and expand enterprise customer relationships.

• Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.

• Achieve monthly targets thereby submission of weekly progress reports ensuring correct data with appropriate action plan in place to meet targets.

• Ensure data is accurately managed within company sales management system.

• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • Work closely with the team to develop and submit proposals that meet customer needs & objectives.

• Exercise leadership and business judgment on all contracts and work collaboratively with customers and Partner network to get mutually acceptable pricing/terms.

Skills Required & Qualifications:

• Preferably a strong understanding of Electronic Security Systems (Fully integrated Access Control/CCTV/Intruder systems/Perimeter detection systems).

• Awareness of business commercial terms and conditions commonly adopted in the security industry.

• Result-oriented, self-motivated, customer-focused approach.

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Excellent interpersonal skills - must be able to adapt working style to the personalities and work styles of our stakeholders and internal partners.
