We’re hiring a Manual Tester at Websites.co.in, an app that helps small businesses create their website in just 2 minutes.

Your role

– Test web and mobile applications end to end, across devices and browsers

– Create test cases, test scenarios, and test reports

– Perform functional, regression, UI and usability testing

– Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps

– Verify fixes and validate releases before go-live

– Collaborate with developers and product to improve quality and user experience

– Validate API responses using Postman, where required

What we expect

– Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, and the defect lifecycle

– Ability to write clear, structured test cases and bug reports

– Experience testing web or mobile applications, or both

– Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Trello

– Attention to detail, structured thinking, and ownership mindset

– 0–2 years of manual testing experience

Nice to have

– Basic API testing with Postman, basic SQL for validation

Opportunity:

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who will play a critical role in ensuring high product quality, reducing release risks, and scaling automation across teams. This is a hands-on, high-ownership individual contributor role where you will influence quality practices, collaborate deeply with engineers, and act as a quality champion within your product area.This role goes beyond test execution—you will help define how quality is built into the system while still being deeply involved in automation, debugging, and release readiness.

What You Will Be Working for?

• Quality Ownership & Execution 
• Own end-to-end quality for assigned product areas/features.
• Design, review, and execute comprehensive test strategies (functional, regression, integration).
• Lead feature-level release sign-offs in collaboration with engineering and product.
• Actively debug failures across UI, backend, and APIs to identify root causes.
• Work closely with Customer Support to reproduce, analyze, and prevent customer-reported issues.
• Automation & Engineering Excellence 
• Build, extend, and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, and backend services.
• Improve test reliability by identifying and fixing flaky tests.
• Drive reduction in manual regression time through automation ROI.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure fast feedback cycles.
• Collaborate with developers to shift quality left (testability, better coverage, early validation).

What we are looking for?

• 4+ years of experience in software quality engineering.
• Strong ability to design high-quality test scenarios from ambiguous requirements.
• Hands-on experience in test automation using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Webdriver.io, or similar.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.).
• Solid experience with API testing, backend validation, and debugging.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
• Strong RCA skills with the ability to prevent repeat issues.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to challenge assumptions.
• High ownership mindset with strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Good to Have skills?

• Experience testing microservices-based architectures.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Software Tester with 1–2 years of experience in manual and/or automation testing. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery by identifying bugs, writing test cases, and executing comprehensive test cycles.

Eligibility Criteria :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• ISTQB certification is desirable but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of any scripting or programming language is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)
