About the Role

We are looking for a strong Manual Tester with deep technical understanding of the product domain and system architecture. This role is hands-on and focuses on end-to-end quality ownership across Mobile and Web applications. Interviews will emphasize practical testing expertise, system thinking, and problem-solving—not automation frameworks or coding exercises.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough manual testing of Mobile (Android/iOS) and/or Web applications
• Analyze application behavior using tools like Android Studio, Xcode, and device/app logs
• Debug and investigate API failures, including response codes and error handling
• Validate backend workflows through database checks, cURL extraction, and Postman
• Understand and test end-to-end application flows, ensuring seamless interaction between frontend, backend, APIs, and databases
• Perform failure analysis and root-cause investigation, collaborating closely with developers
• Clearly document and communicate defects, impact, and test findings to engineering and product stakeholders
• Leverage AI tools to improve test coverage, efficiency, exploratory testing, and problem-solving within a manual testing setup

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Blockchain, Web3 Wallets, and Decentralized Applications (DApps). The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, performance, and security of blockchain-based products through both manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for Blockchain applications, Web3 Wallets, and DApps.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing across blockchain ecosystems (Ethereum, Polygon, BSC, etc.).
• Test Web3 wallet integrations (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet).
• Validate smart contracts using Hardhat, Truffle, Remix IDE, and Blockchain Explorers (Etherscan, Polygonscan, BSCscan).
• Conduct API testing (REST, GraphQL, Web3 APIs) using Postman, Newman, and Insomnia.
• Automate UI & functional tests using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Perform mobile DApp testing using Appium.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and blockchain engineers to identify and resolve defects.
• Document test plans, strategies, and reports in Confluence/JIRA.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines for test automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in Blockchain/Web3.
• Strong understanding of smart contracts, wallets, and decentralized apps.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and API testing.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

We're looking for a QA Engineer to help with manual testing as well as introduce automation to our processes where possible. Candidates will need to be familiar with and able to write scripts, set up automation processes, and familiarise themselves with the products we build (web and mobile apps).

• The role will also require you to document test cases with an understanding of what the product does and how the end-user might approach it.
• Understand functional and non-functional testing requirements of web and mobile applications.
• Document functional testing scenarios and cases, for manual testing of API functionality using Postman and manual testing of User Interface elements (web, mobile, and mobile web)
• Identify or create data for testing
• Execute test cases and record status
• Log defects identified and track them through retesting and closure
• Debug using ADB commands and tools like Charles Proxy to primarily identify the root cause of failures.

Skill:

• Good understanding of mobile and web applications functionality

• Develop and execute both manual test scripts/cases based on analyzed requirements for the Hematology Medical Device.
• Investigates software, hardware, system problems and determines root causes for failures.
• Report and track the defects to closure, support for defect investigation, validate defect fixes and analyze the impact of fixes.
• Be involved in test lab management and improvement of test process activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or other relevant degree and 6+ years of relevant experience
• Work Experience Requirements: 6 or more years of experience in developing software system test designs and procedures.
• Experience in testing of software systems, preferably related to medical instrumentation
• Able to evaluate system specifications and requirements for completeness and testability
• Able to generate test designs and procedures from specifications and use cases, using industry-standard test design techniques, with minimal guidance
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies
• Experience with Requirements Management and Traceability
• Experience with Automated Software Testing is a plus
• Able to Document specifications, and or test documentation
• Able to execute test procedures manually, with minimal guidance
• Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal direction.
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to interface with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in IVD instrumentation, such as clinical chemistry, immunoassay, hematology, urinalysis, molecular, microbiology, or flow cytometry systems, a plus.
